I'm wondering if anyone can point me to a location where there's a list of X-Box (1, not 360) -exclusive titles. You know, the "only for XBOX" type thing.

I've tried the XBox.com site but it won't allow me to search by exclusive title, even though I thought that a list of exclusives would have been an obvious thing to have on their site..

Yes you would think that. Here's a partial list (if you don't count PC versions as breaking the "exclusive" label) from their Hall of Fame page:

Thanks Trippy. With the release of the 360, I'm trying to track down the best of the XBox games that are best on the console that I don't already own or have played or finished on X-Box, PS2 and PC.

So far, to chase down I've listed: Jade Empire and D&D Heroes.  undecided

The Xbox ain't a system you'd really call a "best of" system. You've got maybe 10 games really worth tracking down.

1. Fable: Lost Chapters.
2. Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory (PC version has Starforce).
3. Jade Empire.
4. Ninja Gaiden: Black
5. Phantom Dust
6. Halo/2 (if you care at all)
7...

No, that's about it. Make that 6 instead of 10. My roommate really enjoyed Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel. Your mileage may, and probably will, vary on that one.

How could you leave off DOA Extreme Volleyball?

I was too busy looking at porn on the internet to remember it.

Add Psychonauts and Crimson Skies to Schilds list and you're pretty much done.

Psychonauts isn't Xbox exclusive in any way.

He has a 360, he might as well get Blazing Angels. It's Crimson Skies but more fun.

I woudln't say it's a best of, but I heartily enjoyed panzer dragoon orta.

Also, ninja gaiden rocks my world. By FAR the best game I've ever played on that system.

I have a love for rail shooters, sue me.

No, no 360 yet. It's just not worthwhile yet, to me, anyway. It was just released here in Aust 3 days ago. Once more titles come out and the price drops start to kick in, I'll look at it more seriously. HD-TV might be something to look into before the 360 as well, I'm thinking..

I had the original Fable, and was horribly disappointed. It was the last game where I bought into the huge hype and got screwed on it with a pre-order. Thanks Molyneaux and IGN's 11-page hype-review! Even though I didn't get all that far, I'm not sure if it'd be worth picking up (again). Do the lost chapters add much to it?

Splinter Cell - I have the first two, so I'm sure I'll pick up the third one after finishing the others.
Jade Empire - On the list.
I've got Halo 1, but meh. It's a FPS. I own a PC. (I actually own Halo 1 on PC as well, I picked up the cheap classics XBox one to see what the fuss was about..)
Ninja Gaiden/Black - Isn't this supposed to be fingers-in-vice-painfully hard?

Phantom Dust - That's a new name to me. I'll look it up.
Psychonauts - Sounds familiar. I'll look it up. Is that the FPS? I haven't been able to play FPS on consoles since the first MoH and multiplayer Goldeneye on '64. I've gone all keyboardy and mousey.

I've got Fallout: BoS on PS2, though I haven't truly played it yet.

I've got Crimson Skies and DOA: Breast Volleyball. Though admittedly the few times I've tried to play it I've found I'm rubbish.

Panzer Dragoon Orta - Is that like the Saturn one where you just sat on the back of the dragon on rails and shot stuff in a 360 arc around you?

Porn on the Internet - I think I've seen that one around a couple of times...

I was lucky enough to find a copy of D&D Heroes new for cheap in ebay last night. I'm just a sucker for those new age Gauntlet games. The second EQ one was a bit shitty though. The Cleric class was rubbish, and endless beach caves are just no fun.

Jade Empire - On the list.
There's also SWKotOR 1&2 if you haven't played them already on the PC.

Yes it is (or it was for me).

I guess you missed schild proclaiming this game as the second coming of Robot Jesus.

It's a Tim Schafer adventure/platformer.

When they re-released it as Black, they added in an easier mode. The original was ridiculously hard for me and despite my love for the game I got sick of getting my ass handed to me.

I'm very mysterious when I'm inside you.

Yes, panzer was like the genesis game.

I didn't see what the difficulty was with ninja gaiden, maybe I was naturally good at it but I beat it on normal no problems and got half way through on hard.

I definately didn't feel it was so hard that it killed my friends. I played the orig game, I never played black; maybe I should pick it back up. It got easymode when you bought the combo, I forget, was it X Y X X X Y or something, whatever that slam move was.

You missed Mechassault, Top Spin, ESPN NFL 2k5, and a number of sports games. Links 2004. Any of the Splinter Cells.

While waiting for X-box 360s to become more available I picked up Top Spin for the old machine (used $5).  I have certainly gotten my value out of it, fun game.  They did a great job with balancing skill and difficulty, not easy for a tennis game.
