Patching it now, I"m excited to fool around with arena combat.

Never got around to checking it out on test.

Also, SG Coalitions are in.  Would Bat Country like to coalition up with Justice X?  I have toons in both SGs and they're both smallish so would be nice to have that chat in addition to Batnet.

Heh neither.  I didn't even go to the tailor.

I did enjoy messing around with the arenas though.

I'm a ninja schoolgirl with a robotic arm!  And a panda on my shoulder!

Sigh. CoH starts the long journey into MMORPG hell.

Hmm...pandas...

Are those shoulder pets animated in anyway or are they just a blob that protrude from your shoulder?

I just noticed the CoH game guide is lacking an index also.

No.

I want a pet that shoots fire out it's mouth or drools or something.  These just sit there looking pretty.  They never fall off, either.

The panda looks kind of ill, now that I think about it.

So is the PvP arena worth reinstalling and resubbing for?

I played a bit at lunch, but it ran like shit. Mobs hanging in mid air after being knocked back. The Storm Kick sound effect was somehow replaced with the old sound effect (the flurry of feets sound). I didn't get a chance to play in the arena. The new costume changes look mighty spiffy. It appears they've added some new particle effects to some of the attacks.

I think Issue 4 has added in a bug or two - lag seemed really bad to me - but give it a bit of time and Cryptic seems to work these things out.

What I love about the new costumes are the body sliders. Remodel your head! Pull in your waist! Make yourself look like the Staypuft Marshmellow Man! All these things are now possible. Ahh, how do I love CoH? Let me count the ways...
