The last remaining member of the Ramones died last night.  They were my introduction to the punk scene back when I was a kid, and now they're gone.  I feel old.

Was he sedated at the end?

He doesn't want to be buried, in a pet cemetery.

Only saw them once, back in the 90's they toured with Lolapalooza.  That tour actually came to a blistering corn field in Newport, TN.  It was 94 degrees and 100% humidity.  On come the Ramones...in full leather gear.  They play their whole set and didn't undo a fucking button.  Legendary band.  RIP.

Heartbreak  So sad about this.  I have much Ramones stuff.  A bag, t-shirts, promo stuff from the clubs I worked at, all sorts of junk.  I was definitely a loyal fan.  Having said that, I'm not surprised that most of them died relatively young.   Heartbreak

Yet Keith Richards is still going strong.  So unfair.

It's the pickling process.  Also, he can afford to go to Switzerland every week for secret virgin monkey piss injections.

How can you be sure the monkeys are virgins?
