It's a delightful play. Kenneth Branagh's 1993 version is also quite good if you haven't seen it.

I recommend this as well.  One of my favorite versions of a classic.

Worth it just for seeing Keanu do Shakespeare.

It's been a while, but I remember him being actually quite GOOD in that role.

To be fair, he's no worse than any of his other 'acting' performances.

Also I think he's onscreen for less than a minute and a half.

Really, like in any version of the play, the people we care about are Beatrice and Benedick. Well... and Dogberry.

I like to think that you have good enough taste that you're remembering a different movie with some other actor in it.

I don't think I could enjoy this version though, I'd be too on edge waiting for monsters to attack. Sorry cast, it's one of the problems that pop up when your entire career has been monster stuff done by the same guy.

Hey, judging by everything in here, I suspect I may have been pished.  It was a very, very long time ago.

For a split second while the thread listing was loading, this one's title was "Much Ado About Nothing New"...

Great backstory for the supporting characters.

"Fair 'nuff."

This could be quite good, it has to be one of my favourite Shakespearean plays and the Brannagh version was good - it just needed Neo to say "whoa" and it would be perfect.

Branagh version is quite good, I think. Michael Keaton as Dogberry is really weird though.
