kept getting r*ndom asdfjkl; whenever i hit the a key. & sometimes it'll open windows medi* pl*yer too

Hence i repl*ced the letter with * in this post. How do I get *round removing it new*y?

Try a different keyboard?

Or boot in safe mode and see if that helps.

That can happen if you've spilled something on your keyboard.

I should get back to nature, too.  You know, like going to a shop for groceries instead of the computer.  Maybe a condo in the woods that doesn't even have a health club or restaurant attached.  Buy a car with only two cup holders or something. -Signe

didn't spill asdfjkl;..but ok. let's plug in asdfjkl; different keybord.


Edit: Hmmm. well yes. That is so MUCH better. wtf man. I swore I didn't spill beverage but maybe.....hmmm OK End of Thread time to buy a new keyboard.

I had a keyboard do that once (random keys when you hit one).  New keyboard, problem went away.

Yeah that is from circuit board failure. Could be caused by a few things, but once it happens, the board is essentially dead - or full of lols.

I don't get how you managed to get an a in the thread title and the one in your first posting.

Usually once that happens, the keyboard doesn't recover.
