Nothing good will come of this line. If the system fails, the grid goes down and all humans die, these robots could go on living so long as the flies don't go with us.

The blue eyes give me the creeps. I think those penguins already eat human flesh but don't leave any witnesses!

They make me think of the waterborne Skynet machines. Really, it's not that far away from those thrashing eel things in Salvation and underwater stuff in Sarah Connor Chronicles. Water is a much easier environment to develop and hide AI robots in than air or land. Can't be long until rogue suicide bomber AIs remain in the water after a war.

Kevin of Warwick tried to warn us of this, but we did not listen! Now we are doomed to exist solely at the sufferance of our robot masters :(

Ah good, we're one step closer to a self-replicating nano-robot that powers itself off biomass. What could possibly go wrong?

The story has been revised to assure everyone that EATR is vegetarian.

Like most vegetarians it will just forget the whole thing as soon as it gets drunk or smells bacon.
