Well, partially thanks to this old post, I've started a 14 day free trial. Been following all the n00b links and reading as many guides as I can. Still seems like a lot of information that has basically turned my brain to mush. Hopefully it'll all start making more sense soon.
I started a Minmatar character named Ozzix, but reading about the FW stuff and my lack of longterm investment in the character thus far, I'm still a bit up in the air about which race I'll end up settling on.
I'll be in the F13 channel when I'm online. I welcome any suggestions or tips anyone has.

You don't need to be an Amarr character to join the Amarr militia. Pick a race based on the stats it gives you to start with and the ships that you want to fly, or maybe based on how you want your avatar to look.

Made an Amarr character named Ozzuar. I like the feel of the weapons and the look of that faction.  |

 For anyone interested, starting next Friday (18th July) we're running a series of PvP operations basing out of a neighbour's space: we were down there on Saturday for five hours straight with a forty-man gang, and there is no shortage of fights, so it should be fun. There should be stuff happening every night: plenty of PvP and plenty of targets. I'm running gangs doing various tactics on the Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday, with others from Bat or our hosts hopefully filling in the missing days. You can currently reactivate accounts for 14 days as part of the Factional Warfare promos, so anyone that wants to join in can do so for free. |
