Not on mine.

It just beeps at me.

System Preferences, Keyboard and Mouse, Keyboard Shortcuts, Save picture of screen to file, press F13. Now Finder settings match those of most of your applications.

Skitch (and SnapZ Pro) has made that irrelevant (and previous to that, shift cmd + 3|4 to get full screen shot or crosshair)…

"Should the batman kill Joker because it would save more lives?" is a fundamentally different question from "should the batman have a bunch of machineguns that go BATBATBATBATBAT because its totally cool?". ~Goumindong

Hitting F13 either unveils the solution to Unified Theory or releases a tasty walnut brownie recipe that even VDL could not match. 50/50.

...or we end up with worthy Star Wars prequels.

On my old keyboard the f13 key did nothing but on this fancy, new keyboard wot glows it engages my Infinite Improbability Drive.

Isn't that the one where it gives you the odds of schild buying a Wii and then you end up on the other side of the universe?  this guy looks legit

Edit: Fuck, did I already reply to this thread? Yep.  awesome, for real

Pressing the F13 key causes a rip in time of 13 seconds, just enough time type this shitty reply and hit post.

That is fantastic news, and entirely too nice for an F13 key.
