Not on mine.
It just beeps at me.
System Preferences, Keyboard and Mouse, Keyboard Shortcuts, Save picture of screen to file, press F13. Now Finder settings match those of most of your applications. Skitch (and SnapZ Pro) has made that irrelevant (and previous to that, shift cmd + 3|4 to get full screen shot or crosshair)… |
