You aren't XFire. You have no use.

Die in a fire fueled by internet obscurity.

Edit: And in the spirit of christmas, I won't den this until it hits 10 posts.

Wow you want to get rid of me that quickly.  I understand.  You are not intrested in getting back in touch with people you used to game with.  To each their own.

See, here's the problem. You didn't do any research before you solicited your tired shit around here. Find your old gamer friends? Seriously? The only company that could introduce something like that and make it sound reasonable is Google. You aren't google. And on top of that, instead of ya know, trying to make yourself reasonable, all you did was post an advertisement. That's the slimiest thing someone can do on the internet. You might as well give me a fucking pamphlet telling me all about your new religion. You don't want people like us on your website? Well, fuck you too, you're not invited to my piñata party on Sunday. Crazy bitch.

No, we'd be jerks if we all went to her (the jeni?)/his (thejeni?) website and told everyone to come to f13. What kind of dumbass thinks they can still get away with that shit? What kind of dumbass comes HERE and thinks they can get away with it?

This isn't MMORPG.com we're talking about. This is GameAmp. Errr, wait. This is f13. That other site was gameamp. I think he thinks his website is like friendster or orkut (both failures in their own right) for MMORPGs. But it's not. It's just another piddly website on the internet. How do I judge that? The forum activity. So I'm wondering how we're going to find old friends there. They should be coming HERE to find old MMOG friends. Natch.

I'm not.

This stuff is priceless.

Quote
So, I've been offered a chance in a lifetime.... and one of those really, really good chances that i never would have thought would happen to me. So there is this nasty 74 yr old man who has quite a bit of money right now (full military disability and back pay from 1972) the things he enjoys most in life is travel, gambeling, and sex (but the last one is a bit more difficult for him b/c he only has about an inch left of his penis after the surgerys to get rid of the cancer caused by the DDT's).

I especially like the quiz she took that described her thusly:

Quote
Your Energy is Grey. Your thoughts are unclear,
muddled, and confusing.
Dark thoughts or
depression may be clouding your true colors.
It may be that you have been hurt and rejected,
or maybe you are just manipulative, dark, and
evil.

Wow. Something massively funny must've happened in those 13 minutes. Why'd it have to happen on my lunch break?

I did get brave enough to go spelunking in the dank cave that was thejeni's profile. I can't tell if the following links are real or wonderfully sarcastic. Surealistic is probably closer to the truth

http://www.chick.com/tracttips/ (this is just tooooo perfect for HTML defilement)

And this....this is just so close to the mindset of the religious people I grew up with

Edit: Made a crack about lesbians. When I first skimmed the comic, it seemed like it was an ironic spoof with possible lesbian overtones. Then I re-read it. It was just the same tired old DnD will send you to Hell in a bucket but with girl power overtones. Or should I say grrl power. Or gurl...I have no idea what they want to be called.

I'm pretty sure this is where I should be posting this. I found this feature over on a gaming site. You can search for gaming friends you used to have by their character name or handle they used. I think it would be awesome if we could get a ton of gamers to add their own handles in to build up the amount of handles in the system. I would love to be able to find a lot of people I used to game with. You can add them to your own friends list as well, kind of like a MySpace thing. You do have to create an account (FREE) to add your handles and you can start the process HERE

You can click HERE to see if there is anyone you used to game with.

Jack Chick's only real claim to fame are these tracts.  Of course he has a list of ways to use them.

And this....this is just so close to the mindset of the religious people I grew up with

http://www.chick.com/reading/tracts/0046/0046_01.asp
This... this is I just find ridiculous.  I know people who use this guy's tracts, but I can't take him seriously, because of that one and other similar ones he's done.  I am a Christian.  I also play role playing games.  Sometimes those games involve magic, and death, and mystical spirits.  You have to be seriously messed up to think that anyone thinks the descriptions in the PHB/DMG for DnD, or the various Storyteller books, etc, have any basis in fact, or are 'gateway activities' to the occult.  D&D is no different than playing monopoly... Just with a little different focus, and little more detail.  A little judicious use of imagination.

I admit, that MMOs and PnP gaming do take up quite a bit of time I could be doing other, more spiritual things.  On the other hand, I don't watch the hours upon hours of TV most Christians do, either.

Among those I consider my 'peer group', Jack Chick is doing more harm than good, IMO.  This saddens me.

The reason is that the people over at http://www.f13.net are the biggest ASSHOLES I've ever ran into online (and that is out of a lot of assholes). They not only decided to flame me and cuss me out, but felt that they would post some of the stuff off my journal onto their forum.

Now I don't know if you know these people, but the seem to know Elena at least. But be sure to give them a great big "FUCK YOU" from me if you do know them. And maybe someone could teach them that there are other humans outside of their fuckin' bubble.

Of course the best part of all of this is that it was an admin that was the worst of it. If a staffer on my site ever considered doing what this guy did he would be banned without a blink, but over at f13 I guess it is ok to be a total fuckin' dick to everyone.

Oh comeon, copy the whole post next time!

Now, my rebuttal: DON'T SOLICIT YOUR TIRED SHIT WHERE YOU DON'T KNOW ANYONE. YOU BROUGHT IT UPON YOURSELF. AGAIN, CRAZY BITCH.

Edit: Oh and Lol. Get a myspace so you can amuse us (http://myspacesuicide.ytmnsfw.com/).

Another edit: I think this is the meanest I've been to someone since f13 popped into existance. Obviously, I am armed and highly unpredictable.

Yes, this will get more blasting. I got dragged into this... somehow. I don't even play these things.

This is Elena, so yeah, waiting for the blasting.

I know none of you care, but I was only responding on my lj in response to her post. She said it was someone I knew, so I was trying to figure out who. Even tried to send a message to Righ because he did sound like someone I know here in town asking if he was local.

I was trying to clarify because my name popped up, out of nowhere, on something I'm not involved in.

As I said, I know you guys don't care, so flame away, I was only trying to figure out what was going on. I apologize about my lj post. I was pissed when I thought it was a friend of mine dragging me into it.

We really need a disclaimer before somebody can post here.

People still are confused that cynical and bitter equals asshole to the casual observer. There should be more warnings.

Fuck that, there obviously should be NO WARNING WHATSOEVER.  Omfg the internet has not brought me this level of joy in a long time...

I'm still not clear what happened exactly because myspace/livejournal crap is the type of thing I stay the hell away from.  But let me get this straight:

-someone spammed us with some useless shit.
-they got what really amounted to a dumbed down version of the "welcome to f13 newb" treatment *whoa typos 4tw!*
-they cried
-they cried on their LJ
-then using our evil voodoo powers we tapped into his mind and found out all the secrets of his RL
-then we used our even more evil voodoo intraweb powers to drag his dogs his sister and possible an aunt or uncle into our web of dispair
-the sister shows up and posts some nonsense about something
-she cries

-you guys totally owned two morons off the internet didn't you?

Fucking-a, I wish we could do this kind of thing every week around here.

9:30 pm - Biggest Assholes Ever
I just wanted to let everyone who reads my LJ that I will no longer be posting here. And I have deleted all posts that have any kind of personal meaning.

Schild, I think you hurt his feelings.

After I saw that blog post I really wanted to go to that website and bang out a solicitation about f13. But then, I'm not a dirty guerilla advertising attention whore. There's very little I hate more than someone trying to advertise a website on some other person's site without asking first. It's one of the reasons I crush down so hard on linkage. There are better ways to go about things. Thejeni chose the worst way and deserved everything thrown at him. I still don't know if it's a him. Mostly because the blog posts are written like a girl would write. No offense to the girls here. A male web denizen would have chosen a much crazier word than "ASSHOLES" to capitalize. But hey, I could be completely wrong and this dude just isn't creative.

No, this is Jen, younger sister of Elena, who posts TMI on the Intarweb.

http://www.livejournal.com/userinfo.bml?user=thejeni

I only know of live journal because so many people make fun of it, but would this be possible?
  • Create a livejournal account named f13
  • Add her to the f13 friends list
  • The page listed above would now have f13 in her 'friend of' list forever

What is becomming of the Internet?

When I first started on the glorious Information Superhighway, there were rules of etiquette that were expected and followed.  The sorts of behavior I see now is just unbelievable.  No one can enter a forum without finding flames.  This goes even for professional and technical forums.  What has happened to the community?  I believe a better question is:  What is happening to our world?  The Internet, after all, is a cross-section of our world, and it shows us what kind of people are alive today.

I do suppose that these wonderfully cynical, base, and unintelligent people have always existed.  The Internet is so easy now that even the stupid can use it, and thus we are seeing a rise in stupidity and ignorance on our once-pure forums and chat mediums.

Anyway, the point of this post is this:  You all seem to be fairly intelligent people.  You all should KNOW that it is uncool to do what you are doing in this thread.  Yes, it was uncool for the OP to spam advertise on these forums, however it is just stupid to respond the way you have, and even stupider to flame the OPs SISTER in the way that you did, when she had nothing to do with it, short of attempting to defend her sister in her livejournal!

Administrators, I would suggest that you delete this thread in its entirety, and then properly moderate your forum to make sure that this information does not continue to be leaked.  If you do not, I will suggest to the OP and especially her sister that they contact their own lawyers, for surely what is currently being done in this forum could be constituted as a crime.

Thanks, and please remember your netiquette.

I'm going to pretend I'm taking you seriously, because sometimes when faced with such staggering stupidity no other response will work.

There are indeed rules of etiquette that are expected and followed.  But these rules of etiquette are completely at the whim of the site owner(s) to think otherwise is foolish.  To make the leaps required to say this statement with a straight face:

If f13.net posters are cynical fuckers; then the entire internet is made up of cynical fuckers; WHICH MEANS THE ENTIRE WORLD HAS BECOME FILLED WITH CYNICAL FUCKERS!???????????????????   :sad_panda:

Oh noes!  How could this happen you ask?  Yes the internet is so easy now even the stupid can use it *cough* LJ, myspace, friendster and all that other fucking drivel *endcough*

We are sorry for being uncool and flaming people on the internet, which is something that either Al Gore or Schild invented.  I mean insults on the anonymous internet??  WTFBBQ?

In closing stop calling the yellow names admins, please refer to them by their true title:  Shamans of teh hate* you can not appeal to them using your pathetic cries for mercy and good will towards men (and their sisters) they scoff at you and your rules.  YOU HAVE TRESSPASSED IN THEIR DOMAIN AND THEY WILL EAT YOU.

I like the non-specific claims of wrong-doing. You know if thejeni had acted her age, instead of pitching a fit, this would have non-issue and we would have moved on.  But she wanted to turn this into a major drama, and we are most happy to humor her.

Listen, Internet Snob, you don't define what is the correct use the internet.  Any standards are just made up bullshit so you can feel powerful by getting people to follow them and superior to those who don't.

I bet you are some jackass form GameAmps.  I doesn't take 5 mins to see that GameAmps is a IGN wannabe that sells ad space by creating generic fansites for "flavor of the month" games.  So please stop lecturing us on behaving on the internet while at the same time vomiting on it.

I would remind you GameAmp people that calling us immature is a little silly considering you spam message boards daily with your advertisements and create fake accounts to threaten message boards that you have an issue with. In fact, since thejeni is on staff at GameAmp, perhaps the threat she levelled against us with her fake account can be construed as a threat coming from GameAmp and perhaps our lawyer should be contacting GameAmp directly in regards to this situation. In addition, we may also contact your advertisers and let them know exactly what kind of people are working at a company that runs their advertisements. I'm sure your advertisers would also like to know that they are being associated with a website that markets themselves through spam.

[EDIT] Also, it seems thejeni, DeadPan and intarwebman live in the same vicinity and I'm sure are buddies of one another on their respective LiveJournals. If I took the time to read through the other LiveJournals that are linked with DeadPan's, I'm sure I could figure out who intarwebman is.

Now the question is, what should we do about he/she/it? I can put in a ban on the accounts, a ban on the IP, or I can filter the IP out of the firewall completely. Decisions, decisions...

This is so going on my F13 livejournal, whereupon I will show it to however many lawyers I can find in my trailer park.

I  u.

I figured out the thread finally. Posts had been deleted making the thing near unreadable to my brain when I've just woken up.

Normally I use the name f13dotnet when I do stuff like that (like my AOL name - PLZ SEND TELL ABOUT GAMEAMP I WANT TO KNOW MORE). Just sayin.

Gameamp.com does beat f13.net in a Google fight though. Maybe we should cry uncle.

Googlefighting consists of links to and links from. If we had a frontpage full of hundreds of links everyday linking somewhere else and in turn getting linked to because we posted every piece of unimportant news on the web our googlefight ranking would be rock ass. The fact we even have 19,000+ is shocking.

I have no plans in calling the f13 lawyers on these morons. If one of the resident f13 lawyermembers wants to dick around with this, I'd be glad to cooperate.

But even on the lowest level, I'm fairly certain there's no lawsuit that could come of this. At all. This is the internet. A lawless land of inbred dipshits and online diaries.

If you had an issue with the OP's post, you should have just requested that it be deleted by the moderators, instead of showing your maturity level by pulling the crap that you have pulled.

The moderators are the ones leading the charge, cuntmuffin. We pretty much told tehjen1 not to spam, and she got her voluminous livejournal panties in a twist. Which I'm sure her rich old faux daddy would probably spend hours sniffing.

Had she retracted the spam, gotten over it and actually not been a spamming douchebag, we might have left her alone. Shit, we had one of the Internet's furriest faghag villains on this board for months before we tired of punching his pinata for being a twat.

The only rule is to not be fucking stupid. She broke the rules.

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this thread is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
