Title: Um... Post by: Ironwood on September 08, 2005, 01:32:02 AM Hi. Been in Portugal for ten days on holiday. Reccomend it to anyone, really. Feeling recharged and restored and a lot happier.
Seems like an awful lot has happened while I was away and I hope that everyone here is fine and well. Really. I hope you're all fine and that everyone is doing as well as they can. Not going to comment on anything till next week, but I thought I'd drop in and say hi and howdy to you all. Er. That's it. Um. Something's missing. Cunt Munchers. Yeah, that's better. Title: Re: Um... Post by: stray on September 08, 2005, 03:30:17 AM Cunt Munchers. Yeah, that's better. So the rage is merely contained then....But not exactly gone? Anyways, Portugal sounds like a heap of fun. Enjoy. Title: Re: Um... Post by: schild on September 08, 2005, 05:50:05 AM Welcome back, if you aren't going to comment, why not talk about Portugal. One of the many places on my list of places I'd like to go to but probably never will.
Title: Re: Um... Post by: Signe on September 08, 2005, 06:04:03 AM There is no reason you can't go to Portugal or any other place on your list. Don't be so "neg".
Title: Re: Um... Post by: schild on September 08, 2005, 06:31:27 AM The point was that the list is long and Portugal ain't near the top. Not because it's Portugal but because I've got odd taste. Chile, for example, is very close to the top.
Title: Re: Um... Post by: Ironwood on September 08, 2005, 06:31:45 AM Welcome back, if you aren't going to comment, why not talk about Portugal. One of the many places on my list of places I'd like to go to but probably never will. Go. You don't need me to talk about it. Lovely people, beautiful country, great food, cheap drink. Seriously, I can't talk about the serenity of my last ten days yet, it was so damn tranquil*. I'd reccomend it to anyone. Indeed, given the shite that's happening seemingly everywhere else, it was a Godsend. * - Yes, there was wild nightlife if that's your thing. And many, many, many, many, many, many, many hotties if you don't bring the wife. Bollocks. Title: Re: Um... Post by: Sky on September 08, 2005, 06:37:53 AM Portugal is a pretty fascinating place. I've been studying historical maps lately.
The language is odd imo. Title: Re: Um... Post by: stray on September 08, 2005, 06:43:22 AM I've been studying historical maps lately. Hey, I've got the same hobby. Bobby Slayton, games, guitars, now this... :-D Title: Re: Um... Post by: Yegolev on September 08, 2005, 07:02:15 AM Chile, for example, is very close to the top. I know someone who went on vacation in Chile and came back with a finacee. And a taste for guinea pig. Title: Re: Um... Post by: stray on September 08, 2005, 07:10:01 AM If I made it to Argentina, I'd probably just stay and acquire a few dozen "fiancees", I think. Either that or New Zealand tops my list.
Title: Re: Um... Post by: Ironwood on September 08, 2005, 07:18:35 AM Portugal is a pretty fascinating place. I've been studying historical maps lately. The language is odd imo. It is. You can't get the spanish 'bits' out of your head, which tends to fuck things up. There's also the extremely distracting boobies. Er... Title: Re: Um... Post by: Merusk on September 08, 2005, 07:24:08 AM I've been studying historical maps lately. Hey, I've got the same hobby. Bobby Slayton, games, guitars, now this... :-D ...Names that both start with "S" and end with "Y" OMG you're clones! Title: Re: Um... Post by: Strazos on September 08, 2005, 02:21:48 PM Greece and Czech Republic top my list.
Amsterdam is up there, too. Title: Re: Um... Post by: Hanzii on September 08, 2005, 03:26:23 PM Portugal is lovely. Stay well away from the Algarve coast - overun by British yobs and now the Russians too... (if you thought English tourists were bad, you've never met a Russian on his first charter trip).
Lagos, on the coast and 50 miles from the nearest airport is a cool place (at least it was, when I was Strazos age). Backpackers, girls, backpacker, girls, backpackers, girls and a few locals renting out their houses to backpackers and girls... hell, even backpacking girls. I hung out with a bunch of crazys Americans, when I was there... and made out with the more sane Aussies, because the American girls were just too much effort. ... memories. Title: Re: Um... Post by: Strazos on September 08, 2005, 03:37:48 PM the American girls were just too much effort. lol :| Title: Re: Um... Post by: Pococurante on September 09, 2005, 08:17:30 AM ... because the American girls were just too much effort. Commendable - a man's gotta know his limitations. ;) Title: Re: Um... Post by: Ironwood on September 09, 2005, 08:33:05 AM Don't you mind them Hanzii - I knew exactly what you really meant.
Title: Re: Um... Post by: Pococurante on September 09, 2005, 08:41:20 AM French girls they want Cartier
Italian girls want cars American girls want everything in the world You can possibly imagine (http://www.pritchettcartoons.com/caricatures/jagger.jpg) Title: Re: Um... Post by: Merusk on September 09, 2005, 08:46:24 AM the American girls were just too much effort. This is what happens when you're raised in a country where a boobie is worse than a garroting followed by a few gunshots to the face and then dancing on the corpse. Girls raised and told for 18+ years that they were wrong and bad and immoral if they had sex and only slimy, vile men would want them after that. That 'gift' of virginity is a precious egg that must be cradled and held to your breast before given away to that one 'special' person who'll cherish it rather than seeing you as a bit of tail. Bah on that. Title: Re: Um... Post by: stray on September 09, 2005, 08:47:57 AM the American girls were just too much effort. Bah on that. That hard up, huh? /boggle Lol, what the hell was that? Title: Re: Um... Post by: Merusk on September 09, 2005, 08:51:19 AM I'm married. Contrary to popular myth, married folks tend to get more nookie than single folks.
That's just my understanding of Hanzii. Title: Re: Um... Post by: Ironwood on September 09, 2005, 10:22:21 AM I think you were right about the slimy vile men. Hell, I don't even wanna stick it in unless I'm good and slimy and vile.
Title: Re: Um... Post by: Hanzii on September 09, 2005, 01:38:22 PM the American girls were just too much effort. lol :| While I perfectly well understand your LOLing and smiley placement, it doesn't quite work. As opposed to you, I didn't give up completely and go sulk on a messageboard - I moved on to more worthwile targets and had a blast. Title: Re: Um... Post by: Strazos on September 09, 2005, 01:53:38 PM Good for you.
I had nowhere to move on to. Thanks. Title: Re: Um... Post by: Furiously on September 09, 2005, 02:04:25 PM Nowhere to go but up...
(and for the mean people, no I don't mean out of his parent's basement). Title: Re: Um... Title: Re: Um... Post by: Shockeye on September 09, 2005, 02:12:19 PM Er, what the fuck ? What did I miss while on Holiday ? Nothing important, as usual. Title: Re: Um... Post by: HaemishM on September 09, 2005, 02:24:51 PM Internet. Serious business.
Title: Re: Um... Post by: Ironwood on September 09, 2005, 02:40:13 PM Ok. In the abscence of real information I'll just make my own shit up.
Due to Strazos not liking any women at all, he offered to paddle in Hanzii's mud puddle for a bit. Hanzii, offended and loving husband and father to children, refused, whereapon the very very gay Strazos sulked away on the boards, posting only in Politics for a while, hiding his shame and fear for a time when he could properly use it, just like Colin Powell. Am I close ?? Title: Re: Um... Post by: Strazos on September 09, 2005, 03:05:09 PM No.
I don't post in Politics much. Title: Re: Um... Post by: Hanzii on September 09, 2005, 03:11:21 PM No. I don't post in Politics much. Best reply ever. Ironwood, you disgust me. Title: Re: Um... SMF doesn't break that down, but I can tell you that I just ate an Arby's curly fry that was bigger than a sandwich. Title: Re: Um... Title: Re: Um... Post by: Furiously on September 12, 2005, 03:09:27 PM Keep telling yourself that.
Title: Re: Um... Post by: Llava on September 12, 2005, 04:19:16 PM Despite one of my favorite Simpsons moments being at the expense of Arby's, I do have to admit that I am quite fond of the roast beef and cheddar sandwich.
Title: Re: Um... Post by: stray on September 12, 2005, 04:58:35 PM Mmm...Cheddar.

While we're clearing the air on all this important stuff, I ... have to admit WHEN I LOOK AT YOUR AVATAR I THINK IT'S A BLUE SQUID WITH A SINGLE BIG EYEBALL IN A SMOCK TRYING TO GIVE ME A HUG Title: Re: Um... Post by: stray on September 12, 2005, 06:30:53 PM At least this thread has a chance of not ending in boobies. Being that I'm now gay, I can not possibly give a woman what she wants. So.... (http://img89.exs.cx/img89/8908/jiggle0019tj.gif) I guess that works. [EDIT] Geez, this is what I get for saying that I like Arby's? Any more jokes, and I'll drag this further into a pit. You DO NOT want to see the next jiggly pic I have on hand. Title: Re: Um... Post by: Llava on September 12, 2005, 06:52:38 PM I do.
Quote WHEN I LOOK AT YOUR AVATAR I THINK IT'S A BLUE SQUID WITH A SINGLE BIG EYEBALL IN A SMOCK TRYING TO GIVE ME A HUG Close. It's Magus from Chrono Trigger. Title: Re: Um... Post by: Signe on September 12, 2005, 07:09:42 PM I thought it was a one-eyed bearded man doing the schwing. Oh well... didn't play Chrono Trigger, so what do I know?
Title: Re: Um... Post by: Samprimary on September 12, 2005, 07:10:15 PM I do. I know that now, but now doesn't it look like a blue squid with one big eye to you too? Title: Re: Um... Post by: Llava on September 12, 2005, 11:58:20 PM Vaguely, yes. But I've played through Chrono Trigger a billion times so I'm much more likely to jump to that conclusion when looking at any given thing than a one eyed squid wearing a smock, which I have never seen. Yet.
