Well the blurb talks about the original character's daughter having to deal with the daughters of the original Heathers so I assumed it was aimed at that market. The original demo (us) now has teenage kids and have to deal with things from the adult side vs the kid side. We're meant to empathize with her. Which feels even worse as a premise.
