Well, I'll be flying in Thursday the 8th, and out Tuesday the 13th, getting a tiny rental car, and staying in the Chandler Best Western. Should have crash space for a couple people in a non-smoking room if you don't mind someone who snores. I'll know more details on the room soon.

I'm looking at flight options. The first option that came up on Alaska when I tried using my miles was a 12 hour total trip. From Vancouver to Pheonix - which is about a three hour flight.

I found one in Tempe, close to the airport, that appears to be right beside Arizona Mills, which based on Google Maps Street Views is a hugemoungous mall.

Would this are make sense, or is there somewhere else I should be looking?

I saw his post about the Chandler Best Western... but there are about four Chandler Best Westerns in completely different areas...

Find one by the Chandler Mall if you can.  Big mall, significantly closer.  Although being in Tempe gives people a place to crash after a night of whoring at the ASU bars!

Much fun was had, which was almost offset by the plane flight from Phoenix to Denver. The plane was mostly filled with a German tourist group, who shouted the whole time. I was in the front row, with an empty seat between me and the old guy who seemed to be suffering from senile dementia. He kept poking me, yelling in something that sounded like Italian but wasn't, and hitting the air waitresses.

Much Guinness was downed, and Denver is a bit of a blur. I did make it home eventually, and am now going to sleep for a whole day I think.

All you people who didn't make it suck, except for the few with known excuses.

Gotta love airlines. My flight home was a breeze, until we landed in Vancouver. Plane taxied for 100' and stopped. Lost the steering in the nose wheel. We got to sit in the plane on the tarmac for an hour and half waiting to be towed to the terminal. Looks like I'll get a free flight out of it though.

As for the trip - Arizona is hot, the food and tequila were oustanding. No one looked at all like I expected. I confirmed that HAMMER FRENZY does not infact shout everything he says.

Oh, and I got Orange Box at Fry's for $20.

I'm sure they have.  Any reputable shop will tell you to get the hell out, though.  Drunks bring cops, and that's the last thing you want your shop associated with.
