Title: Friggin Vista... Post by: CmdrSlack on March 12, 2008, 11:08:01 AM So I'm stuck with this odd graphics issue in Vista -- well, a desktop appearance issue. Prior to the last updates, my window title bars were a nifty translucent black. Now they're back to the default solid blue and really goofing up the overall color scheme that I had set. Since I'm on this thing a lot, I like to not have things as non bright as possible for non-crucial colors.
I know where to look to change the various settings for window appearance, etc., but for some reason, my changes never get applied. I don't know how else to fix it; and yes it's dumb and inexplicable.

I can't really swing paying for a new XP license, so I'm stuck with what I have. On the whole, it's not awful, I just think it is like a shiny version of ME.
