Title: Epic Fail.
Post by: WayAbvPar on January 17, 2008, 04:40:25 PM
I was going to put this in the Poker thread, but decided it was far too amusing to hide there. Diamonds Spades are forever!

Stolen from this thread (http://www.fullcontactpoker.com/poker-forum/index.php?showtopic=69758&hl=tattos). Comments are quite amusing, especially when people realize that the spades are backwards at the bottom of the 7.

Have fun working at the convenience store, chief.

Somehow I get the feeling that this collector of 'body art' is going to find his pieces don't appreciate in value.

Quote
Put some money aside so you'll have enough to get that removed when you go broke playing that hand. Should be an interesting story for the person removing the tatoos, having to hear you explain how 79s losing to AA is a bad beat when you had a gut-shot straight draw and a backdoor flush draw.

Awesome!

Something tells me that this guy is worse off, even with his shirt on:

On a sidenote, I got a "free tat" hookup. May be doing something soon. Some tribute to heritage maybe...Can't go wrong with that!

My heritage is so damn long, convoluted, and confusing; something like that'd be impossible.

Good Luck.

I've got asian and scandi blood... I tried drawing something up that'd represent both, but that doesn't work. So I'll probably do seperate things, if anything.

Post by: stray on January 17, 2008, 05:41:36 PM
Well, it's thai specifically, so i was gonna go for some hanuman (http://images.etsy.com/all_images/7/79e/a77/il_430xN.6030975.jpg) thing with viking elements, but now, I just might do some runic thing and a smaller hanuman next to it maybe.

Ninja with a Manchester City FC logo on his breast wearing a viking hat, perhaps?

I'm not that open to ideas.

I would do the sushi roll on a plate. With little chopsticks that are tipped like battle axes.

Hmmm, he's Thai, so how about one of those dragon warrior guys in the armor and pug-looking masks at the head of a viking ship, 'axe' in hand.

Different swords might be a way to mix cultural elements, and still be subtle for those not in the know.  Krabi or Kriss for Thailand, and of course Viking for that.  If you're wanting something elaborate, you could frame your hanuman in a runestone.

Tramp Stamp has been in use (at least around here) for over a decade.

Just a helpful hint.  If your wife has a tattoo on her lower back, you might be better off not referring to it as a tramp stamp.   Or at least not in earshot of her.

Hey, you never know if the tattoo was applied forcefully by strangers.  Tattoo rape is a serious threat to national security.

Depends on when she got it, too. My wife has a tatoo there and hers is 12 or 13 years old -- well before it became "popular" and the location wasn't chosen to coincide with thongs or low-rise jeans (not the style then) but for concealability. From her parents (she was 18) and, you know, in case of normal job later.

Tatoo's really didn't take off until after that.

It breaks my personal tattoo rule (no neck, no hands) but great fucking idea. See how it wears....(see son, back in my day we had these things called 'tags'...)
