Yea, that shot I posted above, from what I remember, the main light was bounced off an 8 foot sheet of white paper behind me.

Might be doing Urban CTF on Friday. They set it up so that the financial district of Toronto gets taken over to play Red vs. Blue. This should produce some interesting pictures.

Silly iPhone took awful pictures this weekend, must have been too bright. The aspen are changing, made for an awesome hike.

First flames in my woodstove (in fireplace mode). Bart approves, but is wary.

Amazing gypsy jazz roaming band at the craft fest, and we got a line drawing of the waterfalls where we got engaged.

Had another model shoot today, got a couple I really like:

Prety much straight out of the camera, about 3 mins pp each, tops. Will do some work on the later before upping to ModelMayhem. I gotta buy me a hairbrush, these girls never have one with them!

Apocrypha you are very cute but I thought for a second I clicked on the salute to T & A thread.

/confusion...

Spring trip to Paris got some amazing pics of the Musee D'Orsay but my favourite was of the obvious landmark which was surprising. I generally abhor the obvious landmarks but the Eiffel tower is actually all that, plus they've done it up recently.

EDIT: found better quality version.

We should have a Apoc, Bunk, and Ookii take pictures of models thread.

For some reason you can never trust a girl to know how to do her hair or makeup, it's odd.  Just need some background separation on the first and to keep her hand intact on the second.  Got some pretty girls up there, in where, Leeds?  AND I BET THEY HAVE AWESOME BRITISH ACCENTS, I'll marry a Brit Brit one of these days.

Ah I see what I did there, sorry Apoc I thought it was a photo of you wasn't really paying attention. The girl in pic is cute though. Here's the Musee D'Orsay I recommend you go here before the Louvre if you are in Paris.

Divine Tragedy photo can't do this full justice literally took me about ten minutes to get a clear photo of it without a tripod and it was about 20 foot across.

Theres a very fine line right there in front of the polar bear between the camera ok and camera bad section, which they don't really mark.  I took that exact same picture of the bear, then turned around and saw something else cool that was behind me, took 2 steps towards it, raised my camera, and got yelled at from 2 directions at the same time.

Managed my first shoot with someone from ModelMayhem the other week. Got some OKish pics, learnt a lot in the process! Including the fact that my retouching skills need some serious work.

I'm totally calling you out for not taking any new pictures in the past two weeks and also not telling us your model got topless.

Yeah, I saw her port.

Those other pics in her port weren't done by me. I suspect, after meeting her, that they may have been taken a couple of years ago.

And yeah, not got sod all done since I got back from Brighton, had a no-show again the other day. Hopefully shooting tomorrow, bloke is a bit disorganised though which I'm rapidly learning means a high probability of no-show  angry

Hurrah, he showed up, really nice guy too. Got a few pics, quite liking the lighting, need to work on model expressions and poses a bit. And dammit I need to get some sandbags or something to hold lightstands in place!

I really like that picture. If it were a bit more I don't know.. defined? brighter?... and if her feet were together for a more classic pose, that would be something I'd hang on my wall. I'd probably crop some of the left side, though, to put her more in the center of the picture.

Anyways, ya, I dig that one.

She's got 2 topless pics up on ModelMayhem, which she's put up for other MM members to see, I'm not comfortable posting those myself somewhere else, it'd feel like a small betrayal of trust on my part.

And yeah, that pic just cries out to me for a tiny burst of motivated light on the girl  awesome, for real

That's a risk I'm willing to take.

Alternatively, just post pics of some other hot topless chick.  I'm not picky.

I was going for dark noir, but when the colorspace goes to sRGB it loses a lot of it's subtly so I'll have to brighten it a bit.

Luckily I have no problem with posting pictures off of someone's port, it's public after all.

Unfortunately, her chest is not as interesting as the rest of her. Unlike other MMers like Shay Maria.
