What I love about this pic is the bow-and-arrow instructor dude in the background, showing the other guy how to operate the device. "See, you have to actually pull on this little doohickey right here, otherwise the arrow just falls down to the ground like so." I'd have thought that the pulling back of the string was the most obvious bit in terms of proper archery.
Firing a bow is actually less intuitive than one might think. Much like swinging a baseball bat. Except that a baseball bat is less likely to leave welts on your arm. |
