Is that one of those bald kitties? Gordon wouldn't let me get the one up for adoption here. I think he found it a wee bit scary. I checked, though, and it DID get adopted in spite of having all sorts of medical problems and being 11 years old. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang was a breath of fresh, noir-scented air. We need more good noir movies.
V for Vendetta... it's decent. A bit too much Wachowski, but not too far of a departure from the book.

I don't know. There's quite a few new-ish things that qualify as Noir. Hell, even V for Vendetta is Noir-ish. Really, I think it might be the most dominant writing style around.
Something more along the lines of Kiss Kiss Bang Bang is the Ice Harvest. A bit more depressing than KKBB though. Even more depressing than that is Machinist. And even more depressing than that is the Man Who Wasn't There.
Fucking GREAT movie is the Woman Chaser -- I believe it's Patrick Warburton's only lead role.
Obvious choices are the Black Dahlia, Sin City, LA Confidential, and Hollywoodland.
The Big Lebowski...Maybe.
