My three year old son is, obviously, not allowed to call other people in the house "dumb". Well he he speaks Danish, so technically he is not allowed to say "dum" which is pronounced exactly the same.
He gets around this rule by looking at you and repeating the word over and over again to the theme of The Imperial March. This is too awesome for me to correct, even if it technically makes me a bad parent.

It's the nature of children. I was not allowed to say damn as a child. So I would always be like, "hey mom, when did they build Shasta DAM? Did you know they are planning on building a new DAM?" And the like. Hell and helicopter was also a good go to. Parents were not amused, safety not guaranteed.

It's a construction loan. They'll only loan you up to the amount it appraises for. So, we have to cut the amount we're missing from the construction budget or foot the cash ourselves.

Looks like he's over charging significantly for the actual lot. I'm sure this will be a fun conversation, and I don't envy him discussing this with my wife. Almost the entire difference is the lot the price.
