If you have a 360 and Borderlands 2, you can let me drive you off a cliff.  It's fun, I swear.

I will consider this and get back to you.

My day:

- Lost my ID at the Philly airport, luckily after going through security.
- Airline lost one of our bags.
- Left the only charger I have for my tablet on the plane.
- Got home to discover my PC won't turn on. Still no idea what's wrong with it, it shut down just fine before I left. So, stuck with my crappy work laptop, no gaming for me until I can fix the damn thing.
- 2 out of the 4 backup options I have for our Oracle ERP system failed, good thing I'm paranoid and have 4. Spent some time duct-taping that so I can fix it when I'm back in the office Wednesday, assuming I don't get arrested for driving without a license on the way in.

Even better to have a cheesesteak and beer at Moriarty's. Or to avoid Philly entirely like the plague it is. And I've never permanently lost a bag with an airline, they always seem to show up eventually, battered and missing stuff.

I like Philly.  Sometimes.  The last time I had a cheese steak I got so sick.  I think it was the cheese.  Maybe the steak.  Roll was from Conchie so it wasn't that.  I love Conchie bread.

The bag wasn't really lost, it just took a little detour to LAX before arriving at our apartment. It clearly wanted to see the sights.

As long as it arrived intact can't complain!  Last time I lost a bag it wound up showing up empty and looking like it had been run over by a car and drug for a few miles.  Somehow the person at the luggage department insisted it wasn't anything they could have done that would have caused it.  Because, you know I like to run over old suitcases and then haul them down to the airport and check them in for flights with nothing in them.

My new iPod nano has the radio option and it just dawned on me that I could listen to the radio now at work.  So nice when I want to basically ignore everyone else in the office!  Yay!

Yes, but AC/DC did some limited or exclusive CD release through walmart a few years back, so not surprising.

Nobody runs the goddamn disposal befoer using the dishwasher other than me. So how'd that work out? GALLONS OF CRAB SMELLING WATER ALL OVER MY FLOOR.

Also, in a totally unrelated and absolutely not rage-fueled stupidty, a plate was shattered when it slipt out of wet hands while someone was gesticulating wildly about how NO ONE EVERY RUNS THE DAMN DISPOSAL AND NOW THE FLOOR IS COVERED IN CRAB WATER. And he's cleaning it up.

Then fishing around in the dishwasher because it won't drain (float was being a dick). Water's still coming out from under it, which I think is still spillover. (It's dry now. But the stupid soap catch won't open reliably now and I don't know why).

I can't afford a new dishwasher. Stupid dishwasher.

 Ohhhhh, I see.

So, I have a Staph infection on my right shin.  The central area is all red and puffy, with a few large scabbed/openish sores on it.  Been on Keflex about 7 days now, and Bactrim for about 3.  They took a culture of it two days ago, and hopefully tomorrow I will find out if there is an antibiotic that can target it more precisely.

I assumed it was from me having a scratch on my leg and then being in dirty river water.  After looking at timelines with my doctor he gave me the very depressing news that, after looking at all the places I had been, the most likely place I got it from was my gym  ACK!

Apparently hospitals are no longer the only great place to get staph, he was saying that he sees  folks getting it at gyms all the time now.

Anywho, I really hope this clears up as I can snowboard cause the top of the boot digs right into the main wound which f'ing hurts.

My phone has a radio tuner and I curse it every time I accidentally hit 'Radio' instead of 'Podcasts'.  That said, I've found that wearing an earbud keeps people from interrupting you unless it's an emergency (they assume you're otherwise occupied), regardless of whether or not you're listening to anything.  As a result, I highly recommend an earbud as part of your work attire.

Staph is super common in gyms, MMA guys and wrestlers get it all the time by rolling around on staph-infected mats.

I've been on vacation for like two weeks. I'm due back tomorrow. And the last few days I've started hacking and having sinus problems. And now? Sore throat, drainage, slight fever and elevated heartbeat. Oh, and that lovely fluttery chest thing. Going to the doctor tomorrow if it doesn't clear up.

Suspect I have recaught the sinus virus going around, though.

My earbuds are invisible to everyone else. At least, that's the only thing I can imagine as everyone walks up to me and starts asking questions before I have a chance to take them out.

Also, I'm the only person in the office of 5 that uses ear buds, and at least one person has hearing loss. It's fun hearing Steely Dan, Pink Floyd and Mozart all mashed together. Especially when people leave their music on and leave the room. I'm considering dubstep.

Radio? I hate radio so much. I tried listening to it over the holidays for some new xmas music and it was so laden with commercials and shitty modern pop country renditions of terrible songs I lasted about a minute of my commute. Also, Taylor Swift is a major whore.

Spent a week downloading Swotor and when I click on 'Go' it crashes to the desktop.

Bandwidth well spent there.

I'm fortunate enough to have one of the last good rock stations locally, but based on what I hear when I travel I get what you're saying.

As for Taylor Swift, I'm reminded of a pic I saw linked elsewhere comparing Swift and Miley Cyrus.

I've lately been running down to Target and picking up the cheap versions of old games that I haven't saved rather than getting them on Steam just for that reason.  I suspect we'll see a resurgence of DVD media once telecom companies start clamping down more on bandwidth.

And the good news is I got it to work.  The bad news is that it's... Bad.  Really, really bad and tedious.

I am aware that we may still have game designers and developers crawling these boards.  This one is a lesson for them in how NOT to do it.  Jesus.
