Is it irony you posted that right after a post from Ghost?
Wat? When posting, I was thinking of Chimpy (I think) who had an extraction a few pages back as well. And unfortunately, I developed an asprin allergy about 6-7 years ago. But the remaining darvocet should get me through the worst of it without too much trouble.

Every time I've had ibuprofen prescribed the dosage is 800 mg.
Max dose is 3200 mg every 24 hours for adults with healthy kidneys. I usually will give 800 mg every 8 hours to take care of the people that like to add a little extra in and to give myself a bump up if needed. It won't make that much of a difference once you get above the anti-inflammatory level (over 400 mg) but sometimes the placebo effect can help.

Don't you guys just feel so blessed to have a resident dentist? Edit: Can someone explain to me why people get motorcycles with the handlebars like 3 feet over their head? I don't get it. It looks extremely uncomfortable.

Same reason other people wear their pants some where around their mid-thighs with their ass hanging out, women use wax to forcefully rip hair from their bodies, or the other hundred silly things that Homo Sapiens are prone to. Its "cool". No pain no gain.

I saw a dude driving one a few weeks ago -- between that and where his feet where, he was basically stretched out in an X-shape about as far as he could go. He looked like a hovering victim of the rack. The ridiculous hat he was wearing did not help the look.

Funny coincidence - I saw one of these one the way into work today for the first time in forever. Guy was wearing a brain bowl too and manually signaling lane changes. Felt like I was back in the 70s...

It looks extremely uncomfortable. They're called 'ape hangers'. And as Sand said, it's to look cool. They put your shoulders and lats in a position to fan out and make you look intimidating. And yeah, they're uncomfortable as hell.

Is there a larger problem in the world right now than bloody passwords ?
If so, don't tell me.

Indeed, I've often thought that passwords were the single biggest issue facing mankind these days. What with all the requirements for a single capital letter and a numeral of some sort. Last time I changed my password, gas prices shot up 15 cents a fucking gallon.

Found a turtle in the pool while cleaning it up for human use, and found a baby turtle. Now this turtle lives inside the house.

Maybe. I notice my previous post reads like a stupid person wrote it, so maybe I will have to resort to communication via pictures.

Talking to my mum at dinner over the weekend she was going into 'stories from my childhood'. Apparently when she was 4 and 5 she was in a class of 90 kids (low and high infants class) and they learned to write using a box of sand. The box of sand thing was kind of cool since it was basically the same sort of stuff the Roman classrooms had (tablet of wax that could be rubbed smooth) and the class of 90 was just kind of Apparently the nun in charge mostly succeeded in teaching them colours, counting and the basics of reading and writing. Which by itself is pretty fucking impressive.

Had Firefox 4 since last week. Just now I find the Reload button. It's the small things which make my ulcers grow more slowly.

Faster than I found the new "home page" button location. ... Mini-rant : Why the hell does "Web 2.0" mean "we're going to change how our website looks and acts every few weeks, based on our whims, with no way to go back to what you're used to or what was actually useful?" It only took me 3-4 years in programming (and several lectures by Everyone Who Used The System) to learn that you do NOT move menu items around for repetitive tasks or else, but the entire new "Generation 2.0" web (and office) programming crowd seems to thrive on pissing off their users regularly by having to re-learn a task you already know... sorry, KNEW how to do.

My wife told me that part of The Avengers is apparently going to be shooting in Cincinnati over the summer. I hate to be 'one of those people' but I might just have to hunt down where to get a few shots if I'm able.

I had no problems with the reload, but figuring out how to move the bookmarks button back over to the left where I'm used to having it was a PITA. I ended up turning off the bookmarks toolbar and then the button popped back over to the left, but still in a kind of weird location. I agree on the WTF do they have to move things around all the time.

Being sued by GettyImages for allegedly using one of their images without a license on a website. I bought the image in good faith from iStockphoto and the source image is not the one they're claiming it is - but it does look like both images were taken at the same time as the foreground content is identical but the background is different. The fuckers want £900!
