That is absolutely going to happen, but it doesn't mean that such a chip will be sufficient to play EQ7 or whatever is the new shiny at the time.

I have never played WoW.

I turned on AA in Oblivion for the first time last night just to look, figured it wouldn't make much of a difference. Yea, well, I was wrong. That was some of the prettiest looking 6 FPS scenery I've seen. Then I turned it off again and continued playing.

If I upgraded my PC every time I "wanted" to, I'd be living in a the streets in a shelter made out of computer cases. I just wish they could make a motherboard last more than two years these days. I havent gone to a GF 7 series yet, because I'd need a new MB to get PCI-E, new Ram for the new MB, etc etc. There's nothing wrong with my current MB other than the lack of PCI-E. It's quite annoying.
