The system by which you choose a crafting profession sucks ass. Both me and Ookii did "Choosing a profession" or whatever. Tutorials were great. I finished the 9 things, and the game decided to make me a scholar without asking if I wanted to be something else. So now I'm a scholar. Which can't be a provisioner. Which makes for a pissed off Schild.

I mean really, is there a reason there isn't just a screen that says:

Make me a:

X
Y
Z

And I pick X. Instead of being assigned Y.

Ding. Level 11. Enjoy playing a class you didn't want to play.

Petition a core change to the way you choose crafting classes? Yea, CSR_NOOB_5137 will give a shit. The last guy I had said to contact tech support.

The guy I had mentioned the class changes that going in and that I could level my guy to 19 and stop then switch classes when the patch goes through.

Sounds helpful to me.

So level my guy to 19 and wait for a patch with no real release date? Huh? What?

Couldn't you be playing the game right now instead of posting obvious grief images? Of course it's a waaaaahmbulance post. It started with "oi oi."

I concur.  There should be more clarity.

No Nerf, but I put a link to this very thread and I said that you all can guarantee for my purity. I even mentioned your case, and see if they can take a look at your lawn from a Michigan perspective.

I can offer my apologies and the assurance that I'm not the biggest fan of it either.

It's on deck for after adventure class selection is fixed.  We've wanted to address it for a while.

Starting out with tons of recipes across all of the crafting disciplines, progressing narrower and narrower until you're down to one profession doesn't make for the easiest to comprehend system.
