Johnny Gill & Eddie Murphy Gay Rumours May End More Than Eddie's Marriage

- Saturday, December 17, 2005 at 14:58

The recent news of Eddie Murphy and his wife Nicole divorcing hasn't really surprised those close to the couple. Some of their close friends have confidentially revealed that it was just a matter of time before Nicole put an end to their double sided marriage.

According to sources, Eddie has had secret relationships with men for the majority of their twelve year marriage unbeknown to his wife. A New York newspaper quoted one source as saying: "Frankly, I have no idea how their marriage lasted this long... I mean, they both love their five children. Eddie is an amazing dad. But I think Nicole got fed up with other things."

Murphy's behavior with a transvestite prostitute in May of 1997 touched off a slew of homosexual rumors regarding the actor and comedian that he light heartedly tried to squash by saying he was "only being a good samaritan by offering what he believed to be a woman a ride".

When the transvestite was interviewed about what transpired between Murphy and "herself" she said that "Murphy has a foot fetish and that he asked her to remove her shoes so that Eddie could see and play with her feet".

Although the transvestite was later found dead a few months later, a Hollywood drag queen has exposed intimate details on Murphy's alleged solicitation of several transvestite hookers in a book titled "In the Closet with Eddie".

The latest development in the gay rumor mill surrounding Eddie has him being involved romantically with singer Johnny Gill of the singing group 'New Edition'. Allegedly prior to Nicole Murphy filing for divorce last week, Gill was a frequent guest at the Murphy home and according to sources, was present during holidays and family gatherings. This is supposed to have been the real reason for the divorce proceedings and reports have the singer living on the Murphy estate in a guest house.

There is little speculation as to whether or not Nicole Murphy will spill the beans regarding Eddie's sexual appetite based on his famous comedy skit about the importance of a "prenup".

Murphy is really going to have to be funny and awfully creative to cover up this mess and save his fledging film career.

Or he could make a decent movie again and we can all not care about who he's screwing.

It always amazes me when people are shocked that top Hollywood types are gay.  The ENTIRE FEEDER SYSTEM FOR HOLLYWOOD (theater, etc.) is composed of mostly gay men.  We are supposed to believe that all the Hollywood leading guys are in the 1% that aren't?

All life begins with Nu and ends with Nu.  This is the truth!  This is my belief! At least for now...

I remember one of my Dad's actor friends who knew Eddie in the 70's and 80's gave us the rundown on all the gay people he knew (he was gay himself btw). I don't know how that conversation was brought up (I must have been 8 or 9), but Eddie was one of them. I never believed him until Murphy got busted with that tranny years later. I didn't want to believe not because of Eddie per se, but because of some of the other people he mentioned (you'd be surprised....or maybe not).

Being involved with the stage myself as I got older and just the general Austin scene (not Hollywood though), I can tell Triforcer that all of his suspicions are probably right though.

All that being said...I grew up as far as that particular issue is concerned. And Shockeye is right. It doesn't matter. Good art does.

Besides, if there's anything to point fingers at about actors and acting, it's not "gay people" -- The only real problem is that, whether gay or straight, stage or film, big or small, many people involved in acting are just terribly desperate, shallow, and vapid individuals. Be they dilettantes, or all business. It's one (among many) of the reasons I'm here having more fun posting on an obscure internet board, alone on a Saturday Night, rather than actually being involved with actors.

Anyone who wears full body tight leather and is caught with a transvestite is not in the closet.

Raw and Delirious are two of the only full length stand up acts I dont get bored while watching.  Stand up isn't really my thing but that bit about his mom and the shoes?  Fucking priceless.

A nation consists of its laws. A nation does not consist of its situation at a given time. If an individual's morals are situational, then that individual is without morals. If a nation's laws are situational, that nation has no laws, and soon isn't a nation.

My mom bought it for me when I was a kid (when it first came out on video). I remember her thinking it was like all Gumby dammit stuff, then he does that bit about "I bet you thought this was gonna be all Gumby dammit, not nigger's dicks!" and she almost fainted (she's a nice religious mom). Good times. Still got the tape, heh.
