I wish Nintendogs had an automatic pet feeding and watering system.

Add in a robot trainer.  Oh no, wait, one better - train your dog to train other dogs!

Then we could have dog armies, and ...

Didn't you also want a sprinkler system for Harvest Moon? Lazy girl!  wink

The having to upkeep the dog every day part is why I am skipping the game for now.\
I kinda prefer playing a game on my schedule.

How much does it cost to park it in a hotel? Can you reset the clock on your DS before turning the game back on?

...uh, for the GBA Harvest Moon games the sprites make a pretty reliable "sprinkler system" once you level 'em up a little.

Yeah I got one Harvest Sprite to be my friend enough to supposedly take care of my animals, but I came home late and all my livestock was out chillin' in the cold night air. The stupid wild dog nips my chickens and then they get all pissed off/sick and I hafta sell 'em. BRRRNTT.

They're these little dinky things, they can't carry chickens around.

Or drive cows, for that matter.

When a sprite takes care of the animals, it will gather eggs from your chickens, brush and milk your cows, and brush and shear your sheep. And then magic the milk and/or wool directly into the shipping crate. (Just like the harvesters magic your crops right into the crate.) So after you have the mayo/yarn/cheese makers it's not quite a good idea to have sprites tending to things. You will still want to German Suplex your chickens and talk to your cows and sheep, and give your horse the complete service.

If you want to drive the wild dog out you should play with your pooch so it gets big, strong, and fast. And build the chickens a pen, using sticks and/or rocks and/or lumber. (This also helps with them not laying eggs all over the dang place.) Also plant grass there so it doesn't get all weedy. Fortunately, unlike the PSX version, it only takes 1 layer of fence to completely block out the wild dog.

Admittedly this is probably just a weakness of the manual.

Clearly I haven't played Harvest Moon long enough.  I didn't know I could enslave the sprites to work on my farm.

Re: Nintendogs.  I turn it on every other day, and make my kids play it the days I don't to feed, water and walk the dogs (taskmaster that I am).  Still haven't gotten far, but I'm the only one entering contests.  The kids just like to walk the dogs and play with them - well, watch them play together.  They enjoy picking up the loot on the walks.

When does the dogfighting module get unlocked?

Everytime one of my threads gets denned, a little part of me goes along with it.  I mean, I always have a really good retort in mind, take the time to type it out, and then scream with rage when it tells me I'm not allowed.

And by the way sleazeball, nobody has posted in this thread for over four months, you should learn to cut a valued member of the community like myself a break once in awhile.

Don't be a knobtard. Use the necropost image and make your point! I'm not picking on you. You're forcing my mod side into action. Let me go back to being an ornery gamer!
