- RULES FROM THE THOUGHT POLICE -

0. YOU GET ONE POST IN THIS THREAD, MAKE IT COUNT.
1. Do not number them, expectation of rank is really too much.
2. You can, if you REALLY FEEL THE NEED TO VALIDATE YOUR OWN OPINION (psychos), post a brief paragraph UNDER THE LIST. Do not do it in-line.
3. All non top-twenty posts will be deleted.
4. All double posts will be deleted.
5. You can edit your list until the thread is locked. Date undetermined.
6. Told rule #6 was too mean. I don't think it was. Nonetheless, it didn't really add to the thread. It has since been removed.
7. Orange Box is still not a game.

- RULES OF ACTUAL LIST-MAKING -

1. One entry from each series. (Example: Mega Man 2 OR 3. Not both) (This rule was oppressive and forced thinking, also if you really want FFVII to be on the list and not VI or IV, I want a record of your stupidity)
2. Post the developer, not the publisher (there are resources for this and you're all old people now, figure it out). Release year still required.
3. Post the system (abbreviations: NES, SNES, GEN, SMS, PS, PS2, PS3, N64, etc.)
4. Arcade systems are fair game (abbreviations: NG, NAOMI, STV, etc.)
5. You may reference your previous list if you posted, it can be found here: http://forums.f13.net/index.php?topic=11500.0

-FORMATTING-

GAME NAME - DEVELOPER - SYSTEM - YEAR

Example:
Super Mario World - Nintendo Co., Ltd. - SNES - 1990

A nation consists of its laws. A nation does not consist of its situation at a given time. If an individual's morals are situational, then that individual is without morals. If a nation's laws are situational, that nation has no laws, and soon isn't a nation.

Never had a Nintendo, so that impacted my early games list. There are games that really should be on my list (say Tetris), but this is really just about the games I played the shit out of, and had the most impact on me.
