So Rift is still adding content

New calling, which is pretty huge. Of course, the early buy-in is a hundred goddamned dollars, but hopefully the soul alone will be more reasonable. But I doubt it, their store is (imo) stupidly expensive.

Anyway. New content of tangible value. Too bad the game (as far as I can see, without spending tons of money) is the same bland dual experience I've played too many times already. I've probably never griped about such an elegant character system bolted to such a vanilla game before.

dd0029:
I got so burned out on this, but I still look in on occasion. Their "new" late game content hasn't changed for like three years. The big end of life raid content last cycle was a revamped Hammerknell. I just checked back on my old guild and looks like the new expansion features a third pass at HK and a second pass at the 10 man Gilded Prophecy.

Sky:
Yeah, when I see all that content being promoted, to me it's just a few event dailies. I don't have any interest in end game stuff, I'm a journey over destination guy. Rift is basically set up to push through as quickly as possible (including p2w) and raid/pvp.

Rokal:
Between their first new class ever and the recent under water expansion, seems like they've continued to be pretty ambitious despite their obvious budget constraints and that the game would be worth checking out again.

I do hope they cooled down on the Carnage quests. I never finished leveling in Storm Legion because I got so bored of them.

Ginaz:
Have they said when the patch/expansion/whatever is being released?  I looked but couldn't find anything.
