Megrim, remind which timezone again? (I'm on UK time)

I'm away all next week on holiday so this could get tricky.

Hey Jasper -- my bunch of broken-and-battered B-team bashers is ready to fail AV9 armor rolls again!  awesome, for real

I'm going to be out of country for a whole week starting Sunday, so the only real options are Thurs/Fri/Sat this week. My availability looks like this (I'm CET, times are in GMT):
- Thurs/Fri: 5am -> 7am, 6pm -> 11pm
- Sat: I can make a 1-2hour slot free at any time throughout the day (5am -> 11pm).

The schedule is unfortunately very tight... if these times don't work, I'll have to concede /sadface

Ahaha --  No concessions!  I demand that you meet us face to face and just /try/ to win by grinding my pansy elves into... wait, that didn't come out right.

Anyway, I've got flexible hours, so I'll look for you tonight CET.  jasperphillips on Steam.

I'm in the middle of moving to a new country so time is kinda limited. I can play any time this week or weekend and I can play on monday morning/afternoon (CET). After that things get fuzzy and if we don't play by Monday, I will have a very small window at the end of next week before I'm out again and gone for a week.

Balut can you add me as a friend on Steam - username is Ulysees there. In the day one thread you said you are GMT-8 since I am GMT (UK based) most likely going to have to be a weekend match for us which means I can normally play a match between 8pm and midnight, 12pm-4pm your time if that works for you?

Either Saturday or Sunday are free for me at the moment.

Shall we try for Saturday 10pm Pacific Time (We're in Daylight Savings Time, so I'm in GMT/UTC-7 now)? If not Saturday night, then Sunday at 12 noon (GMT/UTC 7pm?)?

Ouch.  I misplaced my kicker, then it was all downhill from there.  Got well acquainted with the astrogranite.  Not listed are all the injuries from other sources; lost my Kicker to -stat (damn apothecary!) too.  He had it coming though, lining up in the wrong position!

10pm your time would make it 5am my time? Doubt I can do that but if you mean 10pm GMT/3pm your time then that should be workable for me. Sunday 1pm your time, 8pm my time is also good (will be out most of Saturday day and have a 1 year old kid that I normally put to bed around 7pm GMT so an hour after that should be good either Saturday or Sunday night - have accepted the friend request.

Dwarves bash the hell out of elves but only manage a 1-1 tie in the end.
(also the single injury and death in the elf team were not directly due to dwarves so no spp from those either)

The Necrealists 2 - 1 Best Frenzy Forever

The Necrealists take home their first win in a pretty dramatic game that ended on a turn 16 TD.  Much bashing was had and quite a few fractures/deaths occurred, but nothing apoths and regen couldn't handle.  One of my werewolves scored both TDs so he leveled up.  Got doubles on the level-up and went with Mighty Blow.  I'd prefer block, but when you get doubles it's best to use them.

(Red) Skulls for the Skull Throne!

I was pretty sure that I could hold the Necrealists to a tie after equalising with three turns to play. Unfortunately I was out of rerolls and rolled double skulls when sending my BT to blitz a way through to the Wolf with the ball which gave Ruvaldt a clear path to move a partial cage down to a few squares short of my endzone with one turn to go. Even then it wasn't all lost. I had a few loose players that I'd moved back specifically to do some deep defence, I just needed to blitz away the corner of the cage to make some room for tackle zones on the wolf. At that point the Herald decided that if double skulls were good enough for the Bloodthirster, they were good enough for him. Khorne cares not from where the skulls come as long as they pile up in his name.

I got levels on two previously unskilled Cultists who now both have Block.

Fangs for Victory 1 - Star Spawn 0

Hard fought match where the block dice loved giving both teams those double skulls and on vanilla teams with no block the re-rolls were burnt nice and early meaning this was quite a short match in the second half since most turns seemed to end after about 30 seconds!

I got a very lucky kick that landed on the Balut's touchline and when he fumbled the pickup it allowed me to swarm up the pitch and contest the ball early ended with a turn 5 touchdown for the vamps. With 3 turns and no real runner the rest of the half was just a case of trying not to get too many thralls taken off the pitch and I kicked off the second half thankfully only down 1 KO.

Second half was a a bit of a piss take as already alluded to and try as I might I couldn't get receivers free to try a pass upfield and only getting lucky on the block dice ending Baluts turn before he could attack my carrier let me get a whiff of a second touchdown but I didn't understand how disturbing precence worked and moved my Vamp thrower in range of not 1 but 2 aura's so that pass didn't end well and the final 2 turns of the half ended pretty much on the first actions as we got either skulls or both downs with no block on the horizon to end the match.

Going to take some getting used to and got my first blood lust fail and didn't know how to make my vamp bite a thrall was an amusing end for the first half for me at least. Well played Balut (and apologies to jasper for not doing a type up for our match - I did it at work and it came to home time and I logged off before I submitted it appears cos my post isn't in the thread, don't want you to think I'll only post when I win).

Despite suffering 6 casualties (including a death) to their thralls (none of them self-inflicted, even), vampires march on winning another close game. Hypnotic Gaze comes through again, this time with some lucky rolls I was able to gaze up the 2 guys marking the ball after I fumbled a pass attempt and scamper away with the 3rd vampire for the winning score.

Apologies, back off holiday but not enough time to log on or sort this out yet.

By my count we're short my match plus one more?

I'll concede my game unless megrim happens to be online when I get on, but might not be till tomorrow.

Does the other match have a schedule? Speak now or get a 0-0 when I reach a PC.

So.  I knew I couldn't bash, even though that's what I want to do in blood bowl.  The first block on my elves resulted in a death.  Shit just went downhill from there, although I was able to slide around enough to not allow a first half score.  For the kickoff of the second half (to me), I was down 6 to 11.

Some injuries started showing up for the undead.  Hero zombie picked off a pass in traffic, but eventually the elves went into their famous Elf Stall on the goal line before running in on turn 15 for the win.

Finally tally was 2 dead for me (linemen), and a niggling for a blitzer.  Ouch.  At least my MVP wasn't a dead fellow.  I don't think CmdrSlack had anything serious.
