Divinity: OS is early access, so I don't think anyone should buy it yet.

So, I guess I'm on "Blue Team," not sure if that matters yet.  This is weird.

As far as I can see, the general breakdown for the event looks like this:
  • Craft badges, vote for flash sales, or spend money to get summer event trading cards
  • Craft summer event trading cards into badges to get "points" and misc other junk (emoticons, cosmetics for F2P titles, etc.)
  • Be on the team with the most points at the end of the day for a chance at winning three items from your wishlist

So, it looks like a choice between selling the cards or hanging on to them for the chance of either getting a wishlist game or one of the rare craftables that's worth more than the cards cost.

Hotline Miami for $1.49, done.  I'm sure somebody on my Christmas list will need that.  Almost bit on DayZ because Surly really makes me want to check it out but I refuse to be tricked by paltry -15% deals when it's bound to show up in a flash sale for -75% in a week.

My plan for the cards is to craft the badge once so I can say I was there, and then sell the remaining cards as I get them so I'm not tempted.  History suggests that their price will skyrocket as the event winds down and people who are a couple of cards shy of a badge start panicking.

I bought democracy. It's... absurd. I don't know if it's good but there is certainly a lot going on.

Releases in a month, so, I thought it might be somewhat far along at this point. Enough to probably gauge if it's worth the cash.  However, there's a lot of speculation on the actual release price for the game, which doesn't help me pull the trigger at this time.

I'm very curious about Democracy: have been holding the trigger on it for quite some time.

Lots of buttons to press. I'm not sure if I enjoy the feedback loop yet. We'll see. I spent 20 minutes in it.

I wonder if I'm the only one who saw the sale was up and imagined the crew of the Satellite of Love yelling, "We got Movie Sign Steam Sale!"

So when it comes to Divinity do I buy just Divinity:2 for $4 or Divine, Beyond and 2 for $6 or none of them? Help!

I'm also looking at (read: its not flash/daily deal yet but they are probably at max sale):
-Real World Racing
-Primordia
-Master Reboot
-One Way Heroics

So if anyone thinks any of those are shit, I'm listening.

The first Divinity was Ultima 7 + Diablo. Didn't play Beyond. Divinity 2 was mostly good, I think out of 70 hours only 10 dragged because I went completionist on blowing shit up with my dragon.

Original Sin releases on June 30.

Ah yes, I did like Divine Divinity. I think Beyond Divinity had Starforce.

Edit: Yup.

$40 is still too high for South Park. I debated Naruto UNS3FB but don't have anyone to play with on PC. My will to resist remains strong.

I'm holding out for Darksouls 2 to go more than 33% off, but it hasn't been that long since its release...

You'd prefer Uplay?

I picked up Divinity: Original Sin. I've liked the prior games, release is soon and I've heard good things from people I trust (who I will hit if they were wrong). Seemed like a fairly safe bet and a game I'd probably end up playing before the Christmas Sale. Maybe.

Considered grabbing Anno.. because I like the series. However; fuck the DRM and I don't like Ubisoft. Any game from them has to be $5 or cheaper and without crap like TAGES.. and Uplay sucks only marginally less.

Hells yeah, already got Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon and XCOM Enemy Within. I'm such a fool.

Anyone want to buy Enemy Within and gift it to me? I can pay them in Hex cards or paypal. It's still a ripoff $17 for the aussies.

What do you mean about the release price?  Rumors it will go on sale below $30 at release or something?  I'm seriously considering picking it up because I've got an RPG itch but if it'll be cheaper I'll wait a month. Especially since it sounds like saves won't carry to release.

Mulling over Divinity: OS. Haven't played the others. I've decided I don't really like action RPGs in the Diablo mode much--I can't really decide from the info whether this is more like Baldur's Gate (good) or Diablo (bad).

Didn't they list the price of the digital download at $25 during the kickstarter campaign when selling the tiers?  Of course that could just be "here's the value" rather than "here's the price".

They really aren't bring out the heavy hitters for this sale.  Walking Dead would be more tempting if it was done.   Same goes for Prison Architect (although these games are never done).

I think they are saving the heavy hitters for the weekend. Hopefully.

VH2 was on flash sale yesterday for 33% off, so that should be the max.

Think I might bite on Dynasty Warriors, I really liked 7 and Strike Force.  Maybe the story changed this time...  Also it will help me to continue NOT buying a PS4 (maybe).

Also, I've had good luck with the Steam mobile app even when the website is bad.

Prison Architect is really interesting in that the $49.99 level is also 66% off.

Will probably get Dynasty Warriors 8.

State of Decay is a steal at $5 if you don't already have it.

Get it. I don't even like zombie games that much and I loved it.
