My experience with public games is basically 90% of pubbies play about 2 difficulties above where they should be and expect to be carried.

Got my Ring of Royal Grandeur. Now have full Cain and Tal Rasha's set on my wizard.

I have this ring now and very, very few set items.

I got another one of those helper legendaries.  The Templar one, all skills.  Now I just need an enchantress one to complete the set.

All the effort they put in to make legendaries varied and useful basically got thrown out the window when they made six piece armor sets the endgame for almost every class and build.  All desire to play went away when i realized i was going to be looking for pretty much the exact same things on every character.

A full six piece set will probably take years to get for most people. Plus, if you're a wizard, don't bother, just put on a pair of Pox Faulds instead.

Well, on the one hand I kinda disagree about this.  Other hand, sets were the same in Diablo 2, in a sense.

I find it annoying that the ratios are so slanted to the shit legendaries.  I've gotten half a dozen of the mace with nails and other useless crap.  The chance of a fun/interesting legendary dropping is too low and I've given up.

If it were another company, I'd feel like a patch with more legendaries would arrive in a reasonable amount of time.  Since it's Blizzard, I know that that only patches that will be coming will be to remove fun.

If they stick to the plan, the next patches will add more collectable/interesting shit to keep the momentum up.

They're going to do SOMETHING else with items, it's almost certain.  I would have gone with some kind of Runeword system, but not sure how they would implement that kinda thing anymore.  It's certainly something I miss.

Also, the Mystic needs to do more.  Some kind of drop system that allows you to slot guaranteed item specifics would be nice, though almost certainly game-breaking.

It's fascinating to actually give a shit about this game.  I just wish there was any reason to dust off my other barb or monk, but what's the point ?  I have started a HC female Crusader for the lulz.  It really makes you play cautiously when death's around every corner...

So far the only one of those I've got is the one that makes the Templar unkillable.  If I could get a couple Unity rings it would be pretty nifty for solo play.

On a gambling related note, I think Kadala's now given me EVERY crusader shield EXCEPT the frisbee shield.

Interestingly, the percentages for that shield are just as high as the rest of them, so you're getting seriously RNG screwed.

It's because I'm looking for one.  If I didn't give a shit about it, I'd have multiples of it just like the others. Ohhhhh, I see.

FWIW there is a reasonable chance at 2.0.5 hitting Tuesday. Should make life a bit better until 2.1.0 hits.

How does that really hurt demon hunters?  Turning a chance to dodge into a static armor buff doesn't seem so bad.

Teleport cooldown buff for Wizards, accompanied by a nerf to the Calamity rune.
That makes it less useful as a weapon, but I almost always use it as an escape anyway, so overall I very much like the change. Maybe I'll switch to Fracture.

Blew through 450 shards on gloves and shoulders, not a legendary to be seen. I did get the helm with 25% chance of blinding, and the bracers with 4% chance to drop an orb when you blind someone. Changed things quite a bit, torment 1 went from slow to fast.

I've gotten 3 legendaries out of Kadala. A set of shoulders I use, and two magefists which would be awesome if they were +cold damage but the +damage is intrinsically fire so into the stash they go.

I'm officially a full smattering of legendaries and setpieces now.

I'm basically stuck with a level 59 setpiece because I have another level 70 piece of it and with sockets it's still better than anything I've found.

http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Fabricated-1825/hero/12415890

What should I gamble for? I've been gambling on gloves in case I can get the gloves with the +15-20% cold damage bonus.

After almost 2000 shards without a legendary, she gave me two in 200. One was even an upgrade, although still nothing special. Meanwhile I've also had my first two green set pieces drop, got one from the Countess who already had the same, and made one from a recipe. All from different sets and poorly rolled, of course!

So, spent some time rummaging through stash, mules, and visiting the mystic, and I've swapped out 3 legendaries for rares which I could cheaply enchant plus traded a couple other items , and doubled both Crit Chance and Crit Damage putting my DH paperdoll dps over 700,000. But I've lost all my heal on hit in the process which makes things tedious so I think I may trade some "surplus" crit chance for heal on hit, painful though it is to sacrifice dps.

Yes, I know I'm paranoid, but am I paranoid enough?

So I've got this ring that smooches zombie dogs into one big zombie dog.

It's rather spiffy, since after some experimentation it turns out the big smooshed dog HITS LIKE A TRUCK.

I think they either overdid it or the calculations work on the individual dogs first, because he's hitting for millions.

It's rather awesome shit.
