Oh, I see.

Well. I only knew one Travis Day, and he was a total dick. I operate under the assumption this is the same Travis that lived in Virginia in 1994 and taught me how to play magic at a competitive level.

I think I've dumped at least 1000-2000 shards into belts, with nothing to show for it.  OHH WELL.  I have gotten 2 legendaries out of her, so not everything was a bust.

I don't have enough foresight to wait for people to unfuck things.

You can only carry 500 at a time anyway, and you get 50+ per rift. I fail to see how any blood shards can ever be considered "wasted." As they are literal waste. A byproduct of a rift.

The consolation prize.

It's literally a YOU DID YOUR BEST trophy. What a stupid system.

So yeah, CHD for pets was stealth buffed.

Wish granted. :)

This is indeed an intended change, and the amount of benefit provided to pets does not have a cap. Critical Hit Damage now scales for all pets, from Witch Doctors to Demon Hunters. This actually also includes stationary pets, such as Sentries and Hydras.

Apologies for the delay in communication on this one, but we always want to be sure the information we're providing is full and accurate, and it took me some time to check with all the appropriate folks that this was an actual change and not a bug. We'll be updating the patch notes to reflect this information as well.

Blood shards can be used to gear up alts if you've powerleveled them to 70. Farm shards with wizard, spend with non-wizard. At the very least you get lots of yellows.

Also, just ran a rift and got 2 set items and a legendary. Different sets and the legendary sucked but y'know, clang!beam!grz! etc.

Man, I'm still at the point where I don't have the heart to DE a legendary.  'This might be awesome on some other alt or build someday!'

If it's not 70 or in some way rather awesome, ditch the fucking thing.

Because when the awesome one DOES come along, you'll want to enchant it and you'll need mats.

Lots and lots of fucking mats.

I've been running Electrocute/Frozen Orb since 2.0.  I was worried that the nerf would ruin the build, but nope: a Myken's dropped yesterday, making Electrocute more or less as good as it ever was.  I was sort of looking forward to trying a new build, but I have a bunch of +cold and +arcane orb equipment, so I guess I'm sticking to the program.

Having run rifts all afternoon anecdotal evidence suggests that rifts are now good.

Playing from about noon til three solely running rifts with f13ers (Hi Hat!) I found something like 10 legendary items plus 3-4 plans.

Contrast this to 4-5 hour evenings with one or two drops. It felt good.

Meanwhile every legendary I find is total shit.  I have like 9 forgotten souls and zero money.

Were you just gambling random hats? I'm looking for a stormcrow, but that is a wiz only hat and have yet to have her give me any yellow wiz hats or WD hats.

I'd say something like 70%+ of the hats she gives me when gambling are WD specific.
