Will add comments to the post as I actually get a chance to read them.

Gains courier speed and increases movement speed by 50% after picking up supply.

.. For 10 seconds, right? Because if it's not a short timer, people are going to carry supply for the massive speed buff, guys?

All champions now drop containers based on their family. These containers have coin, skill points, crafting materials, weapons and armor, and rare chances at unique weapon skins based on family.

If you pve, this may be awesome.

And.. that's it. There are really no balance or class changes this time around. Pretty much all class notes are graphical or tool tip changes.

Edit: apparently, you can sell your unused Support Tickets for 1s each. People are in an uproar about this on the forums since it was not announced. I know I deleted a stack of them personally for inventory space, but meh. The new event is crashing the Lodestone market as intended, so I don't really care about the cash at this point.

Also, the new weapon skins from the event:

Wallet is a thing, the new Queen's Jubilee content is also a thing. The champion zergs in the jubilee should be a great way to level an alt, by the by.

If you are not in this event farming right now you are missing out on shit tons of cash.  This is going to wreck the economy.

It's my kind of event, just follow the zerg around and profit.

It's not actually profiting when you gotta farm your ass off just to keep even with everyone else.

If you don't care about keeping even it is.  I log in and play once a week or so, cruise around in a zone I haven't 100% explored, dabble in the live updates stuff and generally just dink around in an unfocused and generally random manner.  I sell far more than I buy on the AH and think my mid tier cultural armor is just spiffy and like the weapon skins I stumbled across from some mob drops, I suppose the stats could be better but I'm comfortable with things the way they are.

You are missing the point, the prices of everything is going to go up from this so all that money you made is just going to buy you the same things not having it would have bought you before, all that zerging around you did just allowed you to keep up, it didn't actually profit you any.

The prices of cultural armor are not going to rise unless the NPC vendors have been zerging around too.  tongue

Exactly, NPC prices are pretty much static.  The only thing I've bought off the AH since November was a couple stacks of food, thankfully the cooking grinders keep that cheap.  Some day when one of my alts hits 80 I may feel the need to buy some more equipment from the AH, but I can probably just start saving drops up now and have most everything I'll want when that does happen.

FWIW, I love the fact they redid the crater in Divinity. Kinda gives me that "When I first started, this whole area was a hole in the ground" feel.

The Mad King blew up the lion statue in Lions Arch and it's been gone ever since.  I think they put a fountain there instead now.

Is it just me or it there a new mouseover/select green outline effect? As in you mouse over a character or select them and a green line appears - I hate that shit and there seems to be no way of switching it off, fucking with my immersion

You don't need to see the loot bags, just hit the loot key every 5 sec or so. AOE looting takes care of the rest!

That may work for melee but as I'm ranged in these big-ass zergs (because it's slightly less WTF in terms of seeing what is going on) and I'm nowhere near where the bags fall. They need to add the bags dropping right at your feet thing to PvE that they have going in WvW imo!

Yea, no disagreement there -- loot dropping at my feet would be awesome. That said, I play a semi-ranged scepter elementalist, and autoloot actually has a decent range (900?). Usually after a zerg of enemies is dead, I just run through the general area and push 'v' a few times until the loot stops scrolling.

I loved that fucking statue. It was one of the best little art doodads in the entire game. Not happy it's perma-gone.

Auto-loot's problem for me is that it doesn't always work during combat. So hitting F will pick up one bag at a time, not all nearby bags.

It's been relatively reliable for me in the new event, except when I tag some random centaur who winds up dying 2500 range from me in a corner minutes later.

Fuck destroyers, though. Everything I'm really into right now besides my necro uses burning as a source of damage. Waaah.

I think autoloot only fires off if there is no loot at your feet that could be picked up directly. You can get around this either by binding it to a different key, or just double/triple-tapping the loot key.

And yea, fuck destroyers, those are annoying as a S/D ele with 30 points in fire. I just break out the lightning hammer at that point and spam 1. My personal fuck-you mob group is dredge, though... blind immunity makes me sad.

So, with the new wallet I chugged all the jugs of karma I had saved up in the bank. Took me a bit to go through them and then noticed in my inventory the karma booster I put there and forgot to use  Ohhhhh, I see.

Doh. I did that last week (with the karma booster) and wound up with some comical amount of karma. And then burned a chunk today buying free WVW rares for my warrior. I was bummed that the WVW vendor selection isn't all armor types. I couldn't make my troll healing/condition build properly. :(

I took a break on my necro at Salazar or whatever. 20k flame waves and "move out of the fire, but not out of the tiny ring or you insta die" annoying shit. As far as I can tell I need to sit at 1200 range and side step to beat him. Which is just tedious.

Challenging PvE content!

Apparently a lot or rangers are having problems with that stuff thanks to their pets. Again.  why so serious?

Yeah, one of them I did would require you to passive your pet constantly. You need her to aggro you and walk towards a specific point. Pets have seriously crazy threat values and would probably make her stand still and wail on the pet.
