This of course means the PS4 is gonna be like $600, but whatever.
I see them going for the throat and selling it at $300-$400 this gen. They're already making licensing dollars for Blu-Ray off Microsoft for every single XBox One sold/made. Also, they have an actual chance of fucking crushing both companies in one generation. This does not happen often - and has not happened since the SNES. The PS1 and PS2 eras were pretty dominated by Sony but it wasn't like the SNES crushing the Genesis into a protein compound unheard of by man up to that point. |

I'm not sure what's worse, the fact that there was almost no gameplay footage of anything, or what gameplay footage was shown.

There was not a single thing even remotely exciting. My expectations were low but I was expecting a couple of surprises or at least a couple things I would want to play.

That BF4 looks like every other shooter on rails  BF 4 is I think the final piece of the EA Acquisition puzzle. It's the last dryhumping of a successful franchise before the slow decline caused by not actually doing shit to make the later iterations of the franchise better or even remotely fucking different. This is Command & Conquer, the FPS version. Also, $500. FUCK YOU. There has literally not been one thing this console has shown me that even remotely makes me interested in it. |

Usually when I decide not to buy a console I know I'm missing out on at least some good stuff. Here though the decision is so easy.
Dead Rising 3 is the one thing I might have missed, so thanks to them for turning it into a game I can safely ignore.
