Damn that test was so short! Played spvp all stress test - all research paid off , my condition build thief was pwning faces left and right. Too bad test is over :(

Some of the notable stuff.
 
A new PVP map with powerful NPCs that can be killed for points
The sentry, A new objective type in WvW
The Gem store will be live and Gems can be purchased with a CC or Paypal, what you buy will be wiped but the gems you buy will be credited to your account when the game goes live.

Get Ready to Keg Brawl!

Introducing the first minigame activity playable in a beta weekend—the wildly popular, incredibly macho norn pastime known as Keg Brawl!

Activities like Keg Brawl are fun minigames that are available in many Tyrian cities. In the great norn settlement of Hoelbrak, players can speak to the Brewer NPC in the northwest corner to begin the game.

In Keg Brawl, two teams attempt to score points by toting a full keg of ale across an icy lake and turning it in to the Ale Collector that belongs to their team. Participants are free to tackle, pummel, kick, and otherwise rough up competing players in order to seize control of the keg.

Keg Brawl—you’ll never look at a keg of ale the same way again!

I think I am going to move the guild to Blazeridge Mountains so everyone in f13 can join and not get locked out like last time.  These guys got trounced in BWE1, so I figure that they aren't very popular.  Any  other ideas?

EDIT: Guild wipe is confirmed.  We can pick a new server.

Meh... Planned some WvWvW but with the wipe - not gonna waste my time leveling character (you need at least a few weapons and skills ,which is lvl 10 or so). All sPvP for me then. I kinda decided that thief will be my main - UP or not , he is just way way too fun. Warrior will be probably my backup in case thief turns out to be too UP for spvp. So I gonna try out ranger and ele  -learn your enemy :)

Probably going to level a Staff Elementalist to get Windborne Speed then head out to WvW and alternate with sPvP for the rest of weekend.  Don't want to spoil the PvE game anymore than I already have.

Crosses figure that we could get a guild group going that evening.

Question: will I need to redownload the entire new build or will the stress test build it had me download update?

No reason to reload.  They even said the current build will be used for live.

Edit: Also don't freak out if the client returns strange errors while beta isn't running.  Some people have ended up redownload the whole thing for no reason because of them.

Okay, so new blog post says they deleted a bunch of servers including Blazeridge and beefed up the remaining. So we are sticking to Fort Aspenwood since it appears all servers are going to be packed regardless.

Just got booted.  No lag for the crowded Asura event area which was quite impressive.

I made a warrior but I'm going to switch to a ranged character, playing melee was too confusing with all the effects in my face.  I was also actually downed during the first big fight.

Warriors are ranged characters, just grab a rifle.  They own.

After you get an invite to the guild or make a new char, you have to represent to actually be in it.
