And still no email indicating what day pre-orders can start playing per the "based on the day you redeemed your code" thing. It just tells me they don't know what to do, or aren't ready, or lost a number of pre-order code registration dates, or have such lop-sided pre-registration that they might as well just let everyone in on the 15th, or (most likely) someone had it on their to-do list and forgot about it or thought someone else was supposed to send out the emails... :)
Or the early access thing was a rouse to get more pre-orders and everyone is starting on the 15th.

If you participated in our Game Testing Program before November 25th, we recommend that you uninstall the game testing client (refer to instructions below) and then download and install the launch game client. We’ll update this post with more instructions when they’re available. You will need 27GB of free space to install the launch game client. The actual size of the game client is approximately 19GB (without additional languages installed).
If you have played in our game testing program at any point from November 25th onwards, you will not need to re-install the game client, as you should already have the launch version installed.

I rewatched the originalreal SW movie trilogy a couple of weeks ago and was struck by the depth of emotion displayed by the woman who delivers that line. Perhaps there was a whole story/scene that went with that. No other moment of grief in the entire series seems as sincere as that one.
Hell, all Leia says about Alderaan is "We have no time for our sorrows now, General." It's almost like she's thinking something along the lines of "Well, at least I don't have to worry about my mortgage any more. And I never have to see that ugly carpet in my cousin's apartment again."

Unfair comparison. The actress that played Mon Mothma, Caroline Blakison, had been in numerous TV/film productions years prior to the first Star Wars film even being a thought in George Lucas' fat head. Carrie Fisher on the other hand, was in the same boat as Mark Hamill, in that their acting careers prior to Star Wars was basically jack shit. So it should come as no surprise when a seasoned pro can pull off the seriousness required to play a part, no matter how small a part it may be.
Now sit down, shut up, or gods help me I'll turn this starship around and ground you for eternity!
