If I recall TESO, they have fewer key presses required to play the game right? My issue is with key presses, as there are too many of them. I haven't played TESO since release.

Supposedly TESO only has 5... for each weapon. To be efficient though you have to juggle between your first weapon and your second weapon so you pretty much end up using ten skills, although admittedly that's still only 5 buttons as the other 5 skills use the same buttons when you switch weapons in combat.
Anyway, I haven't leveled up enough in Crowfall to be able to tell how many skills/button you'll have to juggle with at level 30, but I'd say more for sure as you can also acquire extra skills through discipline runes.

Anyone playing a massive amount of Rimworld ? I haven't played it in ages and ages and wondered, now it's released, if it's good and worth a punt ?

Yeah that seems right with TESO. I played Crowfall during the first pre-alpha release when everything was unlock. It was a cluster of terrible.

Sure same here. But that's my point: even though it is NOT worth picking it up now and try to play as if it were a game that is ready, it has improved leaps and bounds in the last 12 months as a million things have been implemented. That is not gonna make the combat suddenly fun, but the improvements and additions are something I had kind of given up on. This is why I think this game is back on the map.

Don't buy this. I lost a whole day. It's seriously fucking frustrating addictive. I suspect it doesn't have much long term staying power per game, but the replay ability looks good. It's a serious time sink. I haven't played a game unknowingly till two in the morning since my last game of 'grasp yer own dick' simulator.

Same. It made me pull an all-nighter feeling like it was 5 minutes, and that hadn't happened since some old Championship Manager in the late '90s. Funny thing is that I was disappointed by many different things while playing, and yet couldn't even consider going to bed or feeling tired.

It suffers the same fate that Gnomoria and DF does ; it's pathetically easy to circumvent any threat from the 'Savages' by building the Patented 'Maze of Death Traps'.
That said, there's a fuckton of other dangers that I didn't appreciate until I played. My almost all died from Hypothermia, so I rigged them up with hot weather clothes, only for the sunspot heatwave to cook them to death. That one I didn't see coming.
The lightning fires were also hilarious in the way they RAZED THE WHOLE MAP TO THE GROUND, MY TOWN INCLUDED.
So.
more playing required.

The fact that they put classic in the title gives me hope that we'll actually get a western release date on the remake soon.

Anyone got Nioh on the PC who wants to comment if it's decent or not ?

I bought it and played it for five minutes. It's a Darksoulslike. Did you tolerate everything they did in Dark Souls? If so then you'll probably like it.

Is it an awful PC port? I played Demon's Souls on PS3 (and maybe one of the Dark Souls) but haven't ever played one on PC.

This is my movie of the year so far. Not kidding. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bv4CqIxqTMA(it's the best e-sport documentary ever, the best e-sport movie ever, and one of the best any sport movies ever. It's about the latest DOTA 2 International. It's perfect).

Have you played any of the Soulsborne games?

Yes, I'm a big fan of Souls and Souls 3. I'd been reading the reviews of the game that suggest it would be a good next try for me, but some of the steam reviews were harsh on the PC Port, which is really what I'm looking for feedback on. I can't be bothered with a game that's been just shit out onto a PC. It's always depressing.

Ah okay, I've only tried the PS4 version so I don't have any first-hand experience with the PC port.

Yeah, ideally I just need to get a PS4 and that way I could also do Bloodbourne, but I'm not sure I could survive the wife dismay.

I played the pc port and had no issues playing on my geforce 760. My guess is that most of the people bitching about the port are people that want to use kbd+m, 144fps and 4k monitors.

The PC port is perfectly fine. I ran it on a 970 with zero issues at near-max settings a year or so ago.
I used a controller, though, so if you're adamant on KBAM for a game in a genre that works absolutely terribly with KBAM, you might have a rougher time.

I bought an MS controller for Dark Souls after trying with a KB setup for... ooooh…. five seconds, so I'm good there too thanks.

I want to say it's strange that I don't know anything about Nioh, but that would be doing an injustice to all the things I don't know anything about.
I have a PS credit in my wallet, might have to give it a go.

I played Nioh on PS4 for a few hours, then ran into a boss I couldn't beat. After trying for a few hours, I put it down and never went back. Up until then, I was really enjoying the game though!

If you haven’t played Bloodborne yet I would get that one instead.

Have played lots of Bloodborne. Never to completion, because I never finish these games (Demon Souls being the exception, and then only once). I always eventually make it to a point where the fun/difficulty threshold is exceeded and my interest wanes. And then my kid will wipe the PS4 drive and kill my saves. Still some of my favorite games, nonetheless.

Then you might want to wait to see how Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is in a couple of months. And then my kid will wipe the PS4 drive and kill my saves.
USB drive, dude.

USB drive, dude. Lol, that helps fuckall when he wipes it without my knowledge. Believe me, I let him know that I was....most displeased. Unless you are suggesting I should regularly back saves up on a USB, in which case I wonder what leads you to believe I am in any way a responsible adult in possession of that kind of foresight.
