Goddamn did Brees lay a fucking egg. Yet he STILL managed to give me like 18 points. That was a horrible horrible game. The Chargers are looking just as bad if not worse.

Manning and Collie on a bye this week, Collie's out for a few weeks possibly, that is going to hurt. Cassel did good today covering for Manning's bye week for me though, and hopefully Roy Williams continues to do well as he did the last few weeks. If I can pull this week off I'll be happy. I have Williams left and a 20 point lead vs Austin and Witten, hopefully that lead can hold.

Also, damn you Cyrrex (Team Whippy) and that lucky horse-shoe that is obviously embedded in one of your orifices. There's no other way to explain 39 points from Roddy White, 20 from TO, and 20 from Harvin all in the same week why so serious?

Hey, did anyone from the Pick 'Em league hit the Raiders as being the high scoring team this week? haha. I picked the Pats.

In other news, Miami inquired about holdout Logan Mankins from the Pats, but that's never gonna happen. Would be nice though. It'd be fuckin awesome.

Oh lord.  My fate is being controlled by the arm of Tony Romo tonight.  Need both Witten and Miles Austin to have a solid game.

Which entirely neglects to mention that I have Darren McFadden sitting on my bench with 45 points.  Was between him and Percy Harvin this week, and Darren was listed as questionable.   Ohhhhh, I see.

Honestly, if this team of mine hits on all cylinders in any given week, 200 points is not out of the question.

Oakland will never again post 50+ points.

McFadden was listed as 70/30 play not play and even if he did play he would be limited.  So I gambled on a rookie wide-out that seemed to be breaking out.  If I had played McFadden I would probably have won this week.

I dropped Kerry Collins to play Max Hall (as Peyton was on bye).  I am the new definition of stupid.

In the JV league, even if I had played Cadillac Williams and Matt Ryan over Brees and someone else on my team, I still would have lost by like 20 points. That team is starting to suck while my regular team is on a streak. Thanks, Brees. And of course, next week is a dilemma - do I start Brees against Pittsburgh's tough D or do I go with Hasselbeck against Oakland? I have no choice in the JV league, as Matt Ryan is on a bye.

Brees v. Pitt just sounds like an epic disaster in the making. The NFC needs to reroll their class in pvp.

You mean you don't like Favre's new incarnation as the cockteasing INT machine?

This just in, Favre has two fractures in his ankle. The streak is dead.

Beating the Roosters this week will move me into second place.

However, I made like 5 moves this week already.

I continue to be amazed at how my 3rd round drafting of an injured WR (that Viking guy) has totally fucked my team.  With a 14 team league, there is just no way to fill a hole like that.

Most of my team is either on a bye or injured and I need a fill in WR.

I'm willing to trade any or all of Devin Hester, Derrick Mason or Joesph Addai, heck I would even entertain a reasonable Austin Collie offer.

My opponent put up 127 points. My team is not capable of such feats.

Fucking Saints. I bench both Colston and Moore because they are going up against the Steelers and both manage their best points of the season. Meanwhile, the Fucking Seahawks shit the bed against the Raiders, giving me negative points from the D and Mike Williams returns to his Detroit form. Fuck, even Marion Barber gave me more points than Forsett and the Seattle D combined. I blame Wayabvpar.

Fixed It For Me.  I think FIFY, which used to be all the rage on f13, stands for Fixed It For You.  But what do I know, my FF team might not break 50 this week.

My team of overachievers comes through again.  Even with half my players on BYE or injured, I still managed to ring up 100 points.

I'll probably win all my regular season games and then get stomped in the playoffs.

So, Randy Moss just got kicked off the Vikings. I'll use that to segway into Week 8's Draft Busts and Steals:

Biggest First Round Fantasy Busts
1 - Shonn Greene - 40th ranked in RBs, 159th in overall fantasy points.
2 - Ryan Matthews - 31st ranked in RBs, 122nd in overall fantasy points.
3 - Randy Moss - 27th ranked in WRs, 86th in overall fantasy points, currently NOT on anybody's roster. Expect him to move up to biggest bust soon!

Biggest Draft/Waiver Steals

1 - Brandon Lloyd - Undrafted WR wire pickup, #1 WR, #11 in yahoo rankings
2 - Darren McFadden - 13th Round, #3 WR, #6 in yahoo rankings
3 - Kyle Orton - 11th Round, #3 QB, #3 in overall fantasy points
