My old UO guild is dragging me into playing this game, and since it's free, what the hell. But I'm a dinosaur (BAB nothing, where the hell is my THAC0?) and need input on character builds. Here's my main points:
* Melee
* Soloable (divine magic for heals?)
* Two-handed blunt weapons
* Evil (No paladins.)
Basically I wish blackguard was a class and like big smashy weapons. What should I do?

I can't imagine how they survived charging 15 dollars a month for as long as they did. Even playing for free I lost interest in a week.

With a bunch of old UO friends I haven't talked to in ages playing, and the whole thing being free, I've managed to stick it out. Being able to do any dungeon so far with any group size right down to solo is nice. The clicky combat and barrel smashing remind me of Diablo. If Blizzard stole this, remade it at their level, added a fun loot system, and branded it a Diablo MMO I'd be all over it.
As it is, well, it's free and I have a group of people to play with.

Do Warforged still drown? I remember being outraged by that when I tried this in Beta.
