I think Rhyssa's is damn nigh perfect. Whitening the eyes a tiny bit should be easy.

Slayerik, you should make a big banner for your birthday party that says

It's true my ego is enormous. I have never been so confident and cocky. Love me or hate me, it is how I am. The nice part about that is women respond very well to a cocky/funny approach.

I can't wait for tomorrow, I get better lookin' every day.

30th is my birthday. 29th is the party. Kinko's pricing is gonna hurt, I'm hoping my cousin that works at a newpaper can pull a favor for me.

Nothing will be funnier than the day after, when he realizes he's just the same schmuck he's always been and being 30 isn't a big deal anymore.

That won't work forever.  Eventually you'll just look like, you know:   my what do we have here? .  Luckily, for now, you could probably still pass for 20.  Go to your room and stay there until you look your age!  Dammit.

hehe, thanks

it's just.. actually 30 yr olds aren't bad. just the ones i know. seems like everyone just waters their grass, and if there is a party, someone is talking about plumbing.  swamp poop oh, and kids are sweet. just don't expect me to be excited about diaper parties either.

All my friends are hitting 30, so I can't use that trick anymore.  Oh well, at least when I hit 40 I can hang out with the 30 year olds.

When I was 20 there was always a creepy 30-year old dude hanging around my friends, and he always just seemed kind of desperate. There's nothing wrong with growing up, in fact, it's what you're supposed to do. It'll sink in when the kids you're hanging out with now outgrow the partying, and start acting like the grownups that bore you.

Turning 30 is just an excuse for me to throw a big party. I have two kids, an ex-wife, and a foreclosing house. I can't even get myself to want to game anymore. I've felt thirty for a while now, and while I will be the same schmuck as before that's fine with me, cause I'm pretty much the baddest schmuck you've never met.

I had a big party too, rented a karaoke machine and had a million people over at the house. It was fun. Turning 30 is still a little anticlimactic, though. :\

We do things differently in Texas, honey

Seriously though.. growing up. Hmm.. Hmm.. Not my style, I guess. Even my parents partied and were very social into their 50's (monogamously, mind you! They weren't swingers or anything). That would be my ideal "growing up" phase.

Ended up using Rhyssa's one, but thanks again for everyone's effort.

Grats on the positive attitude towards 30 Slayerik.

All this talk of people hanging out with different age groups and such - Am I that unusual in that I still hang out with the same group I hung out with in highschool - now 20 years later?

We should just turn this in to a whipersnapper thread. My manager - who's my age - casually mentioned necking with his wife last week. Half the department (those under thirty) had no idea what he was talking about.
