Anyone checked the 3rd city requirements? Holy fuck is that steep, its killing my desire to keep playing.
Heh, then pray you never see the requirements for the 4th, much less the 5th. People were estimating that it'd take a year to get to the 5th one from what I remember reading. |

There's a problem with demand for finished goods. With 2 cities you have enough plots to make all but 1 finished good (or all of them, if you don't mind swapping basics like bricks between cities), so nobody will pay more than costs and labor for them. So don't plan on getting rich selling perfume. Raw materials is where it's at. And since they all come out of the ground at the same rate (1/hour/worker), the economy is pretty boring.
I'm still enjoying the game, even though at this point it's just a game of scheduling palace expansions and raw material needs.

Spoiler!!!The spoiler shows upgrade costs for just about everything. It's easy to see why Jewelry is the most popular thing, and pretty much nobody wants perfume.... or oil. I bet they change a lot of this in future upgrades.... Cedar uselessness could be fixed by military, but oil uselessness has no help in sight.
