That was back in February and that was their last update. I fear this game will never come out.

Yeah, but it was news to me, and i didn't see it posted. Kind of a big bit of news.

What a company that makes tech buys a company that can't make more than a tech demo? What's "news" about it or even "big" :P

Thinking along the lines of say larrabee or such this gives Intel top to bottom game graphics rendering + havok is getting closer to a total 3d/gaming toolkit/platform minus OS.

Is it big or will Intel just shelf it? dunno, but they do develop some cool software and release it for the public to further push their products ala TBB

I was pretty sure this was mentioned here around the time. I remember seeing the news announcement, and I have little interest int he game so I wouldn't have gone there off my own back, but a search reveals nothing. Hmm.

All they need is a state-of-the-art real-time renderer that they have complete control over, to show off their upcoming GPU. The Offset engine qualifies.
