A glorified cameo is not enough to bring me back.

Three full episodes this season featuring Tennant and Catherine Tate will definitely bring me back.

I haven't even watched all the way through Matt Smith but I'll come back for Tennant.

I guess I'll at least check it out since the new stuff is going to be on Disney+.

Would be nice if Disney acquired more BBC stuff.

A lot of the BBC's backcatalogue would go well with Disney +, for sure, especially programs that aren't anywhere on US TV at the moment. Be even better if they could get into old ITV at the same time.

I’d love for them to bring some Thames shit in too. The original Tomorrow People would rock.

I'd be ok with a return of Harkness for an episode or two or six.  DRILLING AND MANLINESS

Same. That one episode he popped back into was one of my favorites of the Chibnals.

I'm kind of hoping that the 60th anniversary might feature a bunch of hilarious pairings of Doctors and companions in the mode of The Three Doctors.

1st Doctor (played by David Bradley) teamed with Jack Harkness would be especially delicious.

I just watched the first anniversary special with the return of David Tennant and Catherine Tate. It was just great. There's no question that I'm back to see the next special that airs on Saturday.

I'll even give the new regular series another chance.

It was great. And the incels blarging about how "woke" it was just makes it that much better.

Haha. I watched the first time and didn't cotton on that "Rose" was Yasmin Finney or even trans at all. I paid more attention the second time and figured it out. The way they had her costumed she definitely looked far more boyish than she ever did in Heartstopper.

Not really loving the warm and fuzzy Mental Tardis shorts but I appreciate the idea.

Didn't hate it, but damn it felt forced and out of kilter.

Re: the alleged "wokeness", it was cringeworthy, rather than woke. It neither added or subtracted from the story, when I compare it to Captain Jack, the latter was done well, this episode's take just felt tokenistic and forced, but evil Meep was pretty damn redeeming.
