Or all three?

I was picking up some groceries a week ago or so and I passed a bag of sliced pepperoni that I imagine is used for making pizza's or something.  I like pepperoni so I picked up a package.  Now I found myself eating pepperoni at odd times during the day and now I'm a little sad that they're all gone.  I have to buy more, it's almost as good as bacon, but you don't have to cook it.

Pepperoni can be awesome.  I used to eat Slim Jims like crazy.  A lot of the meat snacks out there suck, however, and are shameless meat product disguised as proper pepperoni.  Oberto used to make the best, but I can't seem to find them anymore.

Mmmm Pepperoni.  I love it with some cheese and crackers or when I make an Italian sandwhich... and of course a double order on pizza.

How could pepperoni be considered a dessert?

I enjoy quality pepperoni with Monterey Jack and Jalapeno cheese sandwiched between club crackers.

By eating it after dinner?  Chopping it up into your vanilla ice cream maybe?

Bacon strips and donuts together make sense.

Pepperoni and vanilla ice cream, not so much.

I only like Hormel pepperoni and it has to be in the stick form, not the bags of pre-sliced, which always taste a bit off to me.  The pre-sliced ones are okay crispy cooked on a pizza, though.  I am fussy about sausage-y types of "variety" meats.

I like cold sliced pepperoni more than hot, too.  I just prefer to do the slicing myself.  The stick pepperoni tastes different.  If you get it in stick form it'll last forever, too.

I've actually had Pepperoni fried in an Omlette, and if you haven't tried it, you should... Awesome meat that's great for any time of day.

Funny finding this thread. My dinner the last two nights has been a package of sliced, dry cured peperoni, jalapeno Havarti, and premium plus crackers.

I'm like Signe in that I prefer the stick pepperoni over the sliced stuff for anything but pizza. I don't have a preference for cold vs hot, they both have their own flavor that I enjoy. I might slightly lean toward hot, when the fats start liquidating and it develops the maillard reaction. Mmmm....maillard reaction.

My basic roni snack is sliced very sour dill pickle, swiss cheese, roni and a cracker. Usually a rosemary triscuit these days. Used to like Ritz, but they made garlic ritz that I got hooked on and then discontinued them :(

When I was a kid, we made lots of pepperoni and sausage bread with the mozzarella and the marinara dip and the mmm.....mmmmm....

Peperoncini placed between two slices or pepperoni.

My father in law brought over some smoked Balognia a couple nights ago, I'm not sold on it.

My roomie microwaves pepperoni on a plate and then licks the grease off. I gag every time I catch him going for the grease.

I don't think the spoiler thing works for images? Or am I the only one not seeing this picture of peperoni covering some BEEG AMERICAN TEE TEES (sorry I was in the GTAIV thread...).

Hmmm... Text spoilers work for me, but the image ones don't. Shrug, I'll just quote them and copy/past the link manually.
