Self explanatory, this is the Evemon skills pie chart thread.  Because EVE needs more charts, and less spreadsheets.

You should probably refrain from mentioning total skillpts, as this is an unsecured forum.

Unless you don't care, I, for example, have 78 million SPs.  Err, 7 POINT 8 million SPs.

The science is because I trained Thermo V and I have R&D agents. The leadership is because of the mindlink.

I shoulda sorted mine by sp amount, ah well.

Apparently gunnery is popular. Or rather, it takes a lot more skill points than missiles!

Gunnery requires you to build upon the smaller versions to get t2s, with missiles you can skip a size without any issues.

Nothing as far as I know, they go red-green-blue in the initial chart draw, then if you redraw by size it keeps the original coloring.

It should color by attributes or by skill group, so that

- we can tell the difference between a science char and a combat char because their predominant colors are different, or
- Engineering's always red, Electronics is always purple, etc., making it easier to compare charts from different people.

Funny story there:  Starbase Defence used to be a different-named skill, and didn't have Anchoring V as a pre-req.  I was in the middle of training it to III when the patch came that changed it and they just did a straight rename in the DB.  So, I have SD II without having Anchoring V.  I've tested it, and I can use POS guns.  I just can't train it any further until I bang out Anchoring.

The same thing happens if you lose a prereq due to an alpha clone.

Like I did, with AWU. I couldn't even finish the level it was training until I finished WUV up again.

My third alt which I trained up for scanning is going to train it only thing is I won't be resubscribing in two weeks when the account lapses I'll leave it on Anchoring V in case we ever need an extra POS gunner. I'm probably willing to donate the account to the corp I don't know if that's possible or how it could work I don't want to be in violation of EULA either.

Looks like I am one of a select few that has focused on missiles. Do people really rate them that badly, or is it more to do with choice of race?

For me it's choice of race.  Gallente have too much else to focus on to worry about missiles and I imagine it's the same with amarr.

I've got a lot of missile skills but, frankly, it just doesn't take that many SP to move up the missile tree. Like mentioned above, Gunnery takes a lot more SP to move up the tree because the requirements are higher to move up to T2 for each gun type.
