so character creation

So reading here I finally make an account. Log in select a server and click the create button. Logging in then a decreasing bar appears and when it gets to zero I get logged out. Log back in and I have been 2 and a half hours trying and can not get past this. Am I doing something stupid?

Are you sure you clicked the right button? Try the other one.

ShenMolo:
Open your Funcom>AgeofConan folder and click on SimpleConfig icon to run the repair function. Click Verify/Repair then let it finish. This solves many log in problems.

This should be stickied. Worked a charm. This could be a great game. Long weekend coming up and I know what I will be doing. Thanks guys I allways know where to ask for help. Worked great.
