Heres a picture of the largest brick of gold in the world:

Does gold really have a beautiful sheen, or do I only think so because I know it's an extremely valuable mineral?

Gold is extremely inert so it doesn't oxidise under normal conditions like most other metals, this means it stays shiny.

I just realized that you could probably make a funny, witty story about super heroes' pathological hate for brick walls.

There was that Marvel group dedicated to repairing all the damage heroes did.  I can't remember their name though.

Damage Control!  That's what I needed.  Thank you.

They weren't showing on the "team" lists, so I couldn't find them by browsing.

Funny to think about super heroes being the one doing the reconstructing. As much suck as there is in that turbulent world, you'd think there would be an endless supply of jobs in construction and other "Fix this shit" careers. In a world of super heroes, that would be what the common man is most useful for, right? Manual labor?

I don't think they were supers, regular joes who dealt with all the collateral damage. There was also a Spiderman one-shot back in the 70s/80s that featured him fighting a kid who had had a radioactive wall fall on him or something and thus featured a superhero actually fighting a wall.

Did the kid gain the proportionate speed, strength and agility of a wall?

Festivus poles are aluminum and therefore will not be attracted by a magnet.

Well, its comforting to know that Spiderman isn't a Yankee's fan at least.
