Well yes I agree with all that. I was actually just saying I know of a few where at least the store employees aren't bastards. I guess that's a pretty big exception though.
If you buy a used or refurb Xbox 360 through EB, do they gave you any sort of assurance that it hasn't been banned on Live?
Now there's a good question. I think. I don't have a 360 yet so I don't know for sure, but it sounds like a good question. In any case, with the problems the 360 has had, buying a refurb just sounds like a bad idea all together.

No doubt they sell ones that are banned on Live but yea you have plenty of assurance. It's not like they can refuse to let you return it if it's defective. They aren't going to pull some BS restocking fees on something like that either. It's not even legal for them to refuse to give a refund in that sort of situation.
Of course, if you can't get a good one out of what they're selling you end up with no 360 but you get your $200 back. So what's the difference? Oh right... ANGER.
