Mine's still running (Elite) strong. Helps that I rarely turn it on.  Mine may very well have died in the last 6 months. Would not actually know. The last game played on it was what? Tales of Vesperia or Fable 2?

I bought mine in August 2007, it red ringed on the release day of Mass Effect, 20 minutes after I'd loaded the game up.

While I fitted an aftermarket fan with separate power-source to mine, I'm pretty sure that living in a cold country is a bigger part of it.
