The thing I'm most surprised by, really, is that I would have thought that Affleck and Lee had "paid their debt" to Smith with that last one. Guess not!
The fruit baskets are a debt Affleck will never be able to fully pay back.
Man, I'm a huge idiot. For some reason I thought Murgos was challenging my weak assertion by presenting better Anthrax songs. But I'm pretty sure it's Among the Living... The chorus is fuzzy in my head but there was some "receeding... he's falling... among.. the... living!". Or something like that.

The song Smith used IS "Among The Living". It sounds so much better without vocals. I thought it was super cool, used as an instrumental. When Joey starts singing, it just goes downhill.
When Joey started singing any of their songs it went downhill. I didn't realize this until a few months ago when I found all my old Anthrax CDs & Tapes and played a few of them again. I plain can't listen to any of them now... well except I am the Law, that one's still good.
The past cannot be changed. The future is yet within your power.
So much for that "no cameos" thing. Oh well, I like Jason Lee anyways, and Smith can usually make cameos funny at least.
That the saints may enjoy their beatitude and the grace of God more abundantly they are permitted to see the punishment of the damned in hell. -Saint Thomas Aquinas, Summa Theologica
Looks good to me. I'm expecting lots of dick and fart jokes, and maybe a few melancholy lessons. To expect anything more is to be a geek, or a film critic.
I still dig Belladonna's vocals, and this has made me want to get my old Anthrax stuff on CD. The Among the Living album was one of the best thrash metal albums ever, IMO.
