Zhengtu Online or Fantasy Westward Journey, but look at those concurrent numbers...
Zhengtu Online is free to play/microtransaction model, looks like no particular caps to the purchased mudflation items either and open PVP....again this really highlights the cultural differences in how gamers think PVP "should" work.
Fantasy Westward Journey, um looked bad, and the website was worse.
And the link off to the "Chinese game developer Red Mushroom's CEO Bill Bishop posted an April Fools joke on WoW hunting"
Why am I homeless? Why do all you motherfuckers need homes is the real question. They called it The Prayer, its answer was law Mommy come back 'cause the water's all gone
This really shouldn't surprise anyone. While these sorts of games don't necessarily translate well into the states, there's a reason developers and luminaries have been saying "look to the East" for so long. The sheer amount of people interested in these games and capable of playing them make WoW look like VG. It's not because they're more or less advanced. It's just cultural differences and, in some cases, them having leapfrogged past some incremental steps we took in the West that also, as a by-product, created some traditions that slow the pace of new introductions (like how the villification of RMTing has slowed down the perceived challenges of widespread microtransaction acceptance).
