I remember seeing a druid trainer in Silvermoon, so perhaps there's a shaman one as well.  If it turns out there's a trainer for everything there, I'm considering running a tauren warrior across the world to level in the new areas.  <Insert obligatory whining about travel boredom in Kalimdor newb zones here>

There's no warrior or shaman trainer in Silvermoon :(  I ran an undead warrior over to level, and have to use the teleporter to UC for training.  Not too far, but still no trainer in town.

I think the druid trainer was added to counter the "But Stormwind has a druid trainer!" woes.

oh god how did this get here I am not good with computer

Can BEs be shamans? I am not sure I can bring myself to play an elf regardless, but I assumed they couldn't since they got to be paladins instead.

Nope:  mage, warlock, hunter, rogue, priest or paladin (from memory).

edited to add:  You can also go roll through all the home area quests for your faction once you get close to 40 and mount time, which is really where it comes in handy.  I had to do that on a dwarf a while back because I went to Westfall at the first opportunity and didn't get all my Ironforge faction.   The home area quests now give you full faction (and it's a lot) for doing the quests at whatever level.

I've gone to Silvermoon with a 60 Tauren, and the rep from the newbie quests is minimal. 12-25 a pop.  Seems like it is rep/10.

Maybe it's full for Tranquillien, but Silvermoon was stingy.

Or, do you mean, your own home area, always gives you full rep for quests?

Strange.  I have heard from multiple people that the newbie areas were patched to give fulll rep a few patches ago.  I guess either I heard wrong or it doesn't scale to 60.

Witty banter not included.

Could be that I tried it before said patch too.

I was reading through a few things on wowwiki.com last night, and came across a note that apparently, as of like January 27, the 'fixed' rep rewards for quests was no longer functioning.  I'm hoping that it's something that'll be fixed at a later date, but I can't shake the feeling that it won't be.  Shame, I was hoping to get great reps with all the Horde once I got a mount to go through the lowbie quests quickly.

My level 29 Blood Elf Rogue has been doing the Orgrimmar newbie quests for faction, and I've found that I get approximately 250 rep for each one.  This is as of Feb 19.

Questing from 1-6 in Goldshire and 12-20 in the Dranei zone got my human priest honored with Exodar and Stormwind both.
